Is there a way to change how the camera/map thing works? It makes me dizzy! I bought the game a long time ago but haven't really played it because of this.
Thanks.

I know the camera is fully adjustable, but I'm not sure what you mean by camera/map. The mini-map in the corner? The [U] map? Or the [M] map, there's enough maps for you to choose from so that you don't get confused.
Care to ellaborate?

You can choose if you want the Mini Map(Who also is a Compas, strategy planer, and radar) to move facing the direction your character faces or dont move at all.

I haven't really played the game for awhile, so I don't know if I'm correct or not. I think by pressing f11 (options) you'll be able to change whatever you want there. I personally like the camera view like that, so I'd never change it. I'll go on and check later, and get the exact info you'll need if you ever want to change that.

Alright, so to change the camera view. You have to go to options, and you have to be currently in-game for this or you will not be able to go to to option where you change the camera-view. Now when your in the options, right at the bottom, there is Game options, now under Game Options, there is Customize Layout and Control Setup. Control Setup is where you wanna go. Now there is a list of actions at the left. Look through them and you'll see 'Camera:Free Camera View' click on it, then at the right, assign a key for it, (make sure the key you assign isn't being used) then click on assign. Your done! Now all you need to do is press the key you assigned and the camera view will be just the way you like it... Unfortunately, I found out, you must hold the key that you've assigned for free camera. So if you'd rather have a free camera all the time, you'll have to use the mouse to move around. So, everytime you use w,a,s,d movement, it'll be stuck at that camera view you don't like.
