VCO was alright, I was hooked on it for months even made one of the largest Guilds on my server till one of my members challenged me to me a Melee dual and disowned me because he had bought tons of armor and weapon upgrades with real money (upgrades which you can't get ingame) and sad part is he was using one of the begining weapons lol I was using my hand made Rapiers with hand made Naval Uniforms :/ I don't mind the Xp scrolls but making the game dominated by the Item mall was a huge amount of Phail don't even get me started on the Item Mall bought Figureines and Guild Flags xD

http://www.burningsea.com/page/home I haven't played it myself but I read up on it a while back when I quit VCO from the looks of it its B2P but I can't find on the site if its B2p then P2P so I'm at a loss there. The world seems smaller then VCOs but the variaty of ships is more historically accurate and vast IMO gimme a reply if you decide something or find a good Naval MMORPG i'd love to join you ^^
