Hmm its very difficult... well 90% of spinoffs aren't Good, and the one's that are good are not better than the original or its just as good.

Doesn't it just continue the manga though?

Shippuden doesn't count.. it's not a spin-off. It's just what happens in the series after the time skip. The time skip that still wasn't long enough to mask the pain of 70 episodes of filler.. Arghh.

I can't even think of any spin offs right now.. cept for Eva: Girlfriend of Steel, and there's no way in hell that that is superior to Eva.

It doesn't continue the manga, it is the manga. Shippudden is just the name of the Series after the Time Skip, actually.

Tsubasa Chronicles?

It's not really a spinoff but it does feature characters from nearly all of CLAMP's animes.

Then, a lot of CLAMP's works should be spinoffs, considering that many of them feature many characters from other known works.
