Does anyone know if this gets better after the first episode? The art style sucked almost looked American.(Especially the eyes, with the tear duct being like an inch wide, most of the characters were despicable, there's no strength behind any of them. They all seemed unrealistically flawed and highly gullible.

Well Ayakashi has its Dark Suspense at some times...........not terrifying,but at some moments scary,and Berserk is more fantasy orientated with a hella alot of drama, but IMO doesn't get scary till later on in the last episodes.
