Now, it may be just me, but I'm not a big fan of trials unless I really intend to go the whole nine yards after that. It feels like a car motor tied to your balls when you have to part with a character you had fun with but only for a short time.

I've played tons of free to play MMOs, they all suck compared to the better pay to play MMOs (Eve Online, DDO, Asheron's Call, (when it was in its prime years)) and those are just some examples.

WoW is pretty good for awhile, but does get boring (like all games)...

but I haven't found ONE free to play MMO that matches up to the pay to play MMOs I listed. You get what you pay for I guess...

Also, I know many people actually spend MORE money on a free to play MMO than a pay to play MMO.

wow is a backstab man. Once u start playing it drags u into their hands. U will be poisioned by their insanity. So the only warning is... DONT PLAY IT!!

I think the trial limits you to level 20 as well.

9million people play this game the most ever for a p2p mmo. Amazing seeing how its 12-15$ a month and they still get that many people to play. Its easily the best MMOrpg out right now. I dont play it because of the pvp system. Atm i dont play anything but Xbox 360 because WoW was the only game I liked. But if your only reason for not playing this game is because you have to pay then you cant say this game is bad because this game is the best hands down no argument.

Honestly I've never played wow for more than a like a couple hours, if that. I just don't really like the way it looks or the character design, but if I get tired of the mmos I'm trying now I'll try playing on a ----- server, and if I like it then I might play official. Depends what you mean by "best", they are all very different. My favorite so far is the paladin, they have much better survivability than the other healers, but their damage is kinda low and they don't really have any ranged attacks. Priests are fun too though, they have an insta-cast shield that is cool.

Priests are really good healers and they were practically specifically made for healing so yeah that would be your first choice but they die kind of fast but the good thing about it is that you can just fade everytime you get too much aggro so you won't die as much.
Second would have to be paladins because they can stay a live much longer but they don't have some of the leisure spells like prayer of healing, prayer of mending, or even a renew type of spell.
They do have a shield that blocks all of the attacks but then again it's 3 minute cooldown each time you do it to a party member or yourself.
The last one would be Druid which is in my opinion not very good for healing because for one thing they have 30 minute cooldown on your ressurection spell and you could just do better with a paladin or a priest in my opinion but the spell... Lifebloom was it? is really good I hear.
Also if you were in a group try to get a shadow priest because in Burning Crusade they added a mana talent so that the party can benefit from the spells they cast and they're valuable to guilds now.

Yeah palas are great don't forget that they have a total of 2 !!! healing skills.

I would quit wow if i had a paladin lol they would be so useless if it wasnt for their buffs.

And for everyone boasting about their leet arena rating, arena is nowhere near balanced, so many warriors with s3 because there is no skill needed for a warrior. I made it to 2100 with a fire mage / frost mage combo me being the fire mage, eat that you OP s3 warriors :(

Yeah Cairne is the new server, and it is awesome, new players galore.

Eh I've tried WoW on about 3 different occasions not to mention trying various private servers and I just can't say I like the game ....I just hate the generic style it has and I just can't get past that part about it.

Spec and gear matters too my friend. In fact, I ran HellFire Ramps a couple nights ago, I had a priest healer that was specced holy/disc and she ****ing wiped us 7 times(No F'ing lie), its a surprise I even let her stay after the second wipe. Everybody was specced right and doing their job except her, which couldn't heal for shit. Seven times I let her stay just because she was my guild member. Next, I had a pally healer, we ran the entire instance no wipes. Because of her great healing, always mangaged to heal us in time.

Meh, my favorite class with a rogue. I tried nearly every class but I quit every one at around level 10-27. My rogue I got to level 60 and enjoyed it. It was a huge DPS in PvE(17/41/0 specced). Even with that PvE spec, I still pwned in BGs.

I wanted to try this game to see what all the fuss was about...

played for 3 days didnt really seem to like it sure it was fun but still...

Then again its only a trial so I cant say much.

at first low lvl 1-15 you will be a very short grind with not much skills but after 15+ dungeons and more partying and skills and everythin gets alot more fun

Did you even do any instances? First time I ran Deadmines I was blown away at how awesome it was.

Ragefire is the lowest level horde one, like 13+

Deadmines is the first alliance instance, 17+

I recommend doing the Deadmines, it's cool as hell, I almost pissed my pants when I saw that giant pirate ship! I've heard Ragefire is much less impressive and is very basic compared to DM.

and make sure you play on the Cairne server, that's where all the new players are, so you'll have no problem getting a group

Thats why you play instant level 70 with free tier 4 so its straight pvp and if you really love pve you can instance for tier 5/6, theres not to many bugs anymore on pv servers as in pvp wise. its fun if you get a group of guys with past WoW retail experience in a vent chan and just hop on a pv server and rape all the unorganized kiddies.

the private servers dont have the real WoW feel, its just like cheating to get to the end and do instances i mean seriously its rly fun to start from the beginning and lvl to 70 cuz u do so much quests pvp raids dungeons meet people its like a world other then the rl one.

you can get to the human area by going to ironforge and then taking the train to SW and going outside that will be the lvl 6-12 area and lots of people are there

warriors are probably the roughest class to start out with, as they are extremely gear dependent and they don't start getting decent abilities until like 10+

it helps if you learn mining and blacksmithing as your professions though, make your own armor and weapons.
