Hey everyone. I'm trying to make my own video game and found some intresting web sites, but when i try to install RPG Maker XP this error comes up: This application has failed to start because rgss102e.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix the problem. (already tried reinstalling) Please help!

google the stupid dll. then download it. thats it.

Also, to use RPG Maker XP, I suggest you make a game or two thats good with RPG Maker 2003. Their program is very useful.

It would be best to learn the Ruby programming language to get the most out of your RPG, as by defualt its just the same set of tools presented to you and any other joe who decides to download it.

But of course, with a good plot and clever & best use of what tools are there, you can indeed make a good RPG.

for beginner, i suggest use flash mx to make rpg game XD

Quit RPGMaker XP.


Go get RPGMaker VX. Much more versatile, and it's easier to crack and use since the file is up for download on the official website.

You should try Game Maker, it is a much better program in general.

if you cant figure out how to get the program running your probably arent going to be making a simple rpg anytime soon.
