Im thinking of getting this game. Is it good? I played WOW but i quit cuz i had to pay alot and my dad got mad so i cant play that game for a while. Is guild wars like WOW? Is there 2 differernt worlds? Can someone tell me if this game is easy to play or hard and is it worth it since you dont have to pay every month.

I personally like the game. The ghx, gameplay, characters, the fact you can be 2 classes. Its crazy. I would still be playing but i have a sucky computer. BTW, instead of grinding, you do quests to gain exp. Nice. :D

i use to hate the game, the graphics are absolutely awsome. runs pretty smooth on my laptop. Just a hint, if your gonna get GW get GW: factions, its hella better, much easier tolvl up and the Guild VS guild is amazing, i had a guild that had ventrilo and we use to pvp and GVg every week, we also went gold farming (buy the game and you'll find out wat that means), great fun, Trying to earn a title atm *Tyrian pathfinder 60%*:)

You can jump. /Jump (okay, maybe not what you're looking for, but don't say you CAN'T jump in this game).
I love this game :)

Its not the common mmorpg...
You may or may not like it...
Its not made for everybody... some people just love the old grinding...

You cant run around pressing space bar to jump, and the fact that you cant go on some places on the ground is really annoying too.

But is the game worth it? I know if i buy it i cant return it but is there a way to get a tiral? Also about the 2 classes what do you mean by that? And all you do is quests? No killing monsters and bosses and party quests like in wow and maple story? Are the quests hard? Can you get parties? Is there such thing as a clan or guild you can make/join? How is the pvp like?

I think that guild war get boring after you get to level 20 because level 20 is the hightest and you can get to level 20 in one week.

Guild Wars aien't about the levels, when you get into pvp, it takes strategy to win, not the level because everyone is level 20 in pvp lol.

1. So worth it.
2. No trials (that i know of).
3. Theres 8 classes total, but you need Factions to access all of them.
4. Quests, grinding, and pvp.
5. Parties yes, party quests? Sort of, there are missions you can do in parties.
6. Quests can be very annoying, not generally hard.
7. You can party
8. You can make and join guilds, which can have their own guild halls and guild capes.
9. PvP is fun and fast paced. You can get titles and unlock skills and weapon upgrades by doing PvP.

Actually I'm starting to grow tired of guild wars, I played it for I believe like 369 hours or somewhere around there and It's just getting old, the quests are all exactly the same, I've played all the classes and gotten most of them to level twenty. It's just getting kind of dull, I'm actually trying to get WoW right now and find out some more info, right now I'm just grinding big time on Guild Wars, if you're not into getting the same things to do with each character you make then don't get Guild Wars. As for the game being PvP based, I highly doubt it, I only see about 5000 people a day on all the districts in the PvP Isles. I normally see like 10000 people in the districts on the roleplaying characters. PvP gets rather old as well, you just wait for the enemy to make the first move, make a line with tankers in front and the elementalists, Necromancers, etc. In the back maybe if you have an assassin have him stand behind the Warriors (aka tankers) and then try to target squishies when the enemy moves, if the enemy doesn't move everyone has to stay in that same spot they're in except the tankers and the assassin.

Nope theres no way to get trial of the game. But yes its i worth it. And as for the 2 classes, lets say u choose to be a warrior, u can choose a second proffession later in the game such as monk. Now you wuld be a W/Mo and u would be able to use the skills from the warrior as long as some of the skills from monk. And what kind of question was "...is there guilds ?" OF COURSE! lol why would the game be called guild wars if it didnt? and the pvp is great, you can go guild vs guild if you like, or even alliance vs alliance. Normally you can just stand around in town and you see people recruiting for their guilds and such. Each guild has their own cape, and a guild hall where only your guild members or quests can go. Here u can host gvg, ab battles, ect. I recomend gettign the game.

I personally like WoW better except for the fact it takes significantly longer to get to the highest level. If you were one of those PLers on WoW you could do it in a week though >_<.... what gets annoying with WoW is it is a grind but at the same time the combat is a whole lot more fun then GW I would say... GW is one of those love/hate things... you may love it you may hate it. It depends on what you prefer WoW has more content I would say while GW is easier/a whole lot less time consuming.
You may want to save your money and wait for this wave of new MMORPGS's to come out before you get GW or WoW.
No, My guild and I (About 40 of us altogether bought it at launch), most quit after a week. Everybody had quit after 2 months. Just found it very boring.

You need a grammer lesson mate, use caps at the start of a scentence, for a persons name or after a full stop. Not every single damn word man lol.

Well heres the differences between GW and most MMO's
Avereage commercial MMO/Guildwar's
To win in PVP you need to invest hundreds of hours/GW's you need to play for a week to get ready for PVP
Keeps you improving your character for a longer period of time/GW's doesnt have that but some people like me dont want to do that. I bought a game and not a investment
Makes you wait your turn for something you pay for every month/GW gives you a instance so you dont need to take turns killing uniques for a quest
Grinding is often required to get that last 10000xp needed to level up/Never needed to grind in GW
Players dont dynamicly change the world a single bit/Guildwars doesnt do much of that but a little bit if devs notice, Such as favor of the gods, Alliance vs. Alliance (AvA factions only)
In some zones there are about 5 monsters with the same model but different texture/I have dont think i have ever seen this in GW
Many players live in regret playing the game cause they spent a skill point in the wrong skill or stuff/In GW if i spent wrong its cool! I can go to a town and redistribute without needing to pay 1000gold
I got bored of WoW... Now i wasted about 200 dollars. Stupid monthly fee.../P2P. Really P2P Not pay and pay some more and some more and some more
In most MMO's (ESPECIALLY WOW) you need to walk for about a hour to get to your objective to complete a quest/WHY THE **** DO I NEED TO WALK A HOUR!?! THATS RETARDED! Guildwars lets you travel instantly from town to town so you can get to quest objectives in about 5 minutes instead of a hour and lets you instantly meet up with freinds
I invested all this time training for the battlegrounds but i still lost/Skill in a player matters more than levels in a character
I asked how to do something or where to find someone and now everyone hates me and is calling me noob/I have RARELY seen anyone ever do that in GW
It could go on forever. GW took away pretty much everything i hated in the average MMO
