rose online(irose) didn't really close down, during the 1st beta test it was doing fine just until couple of month later there was a lot of hacks going around where they were duping and they were force to do a wipe hoping they would make everything better. The 2nd beta there were less hackers hackers, but i don't really remember why they close this one down(didn't play much on 2nd beta)

finally narose came and it become p2p, there were some changes where it was somewhat harder to lvl and the skills requirement change

but now they are updating to, rose evolution
heres the korean trailer of evo

IROSE's second beta was ended because Gravity felt that they were ready to take the next step with the game. The "I" in "IROSE" meant international, when it closed down people thought they were wiping again to make IROSE P2P, this was partly true. Gravity released NAROSE (North American), EROSE (Europe), KROSE (Korea), JROSE (Japan), and PROSE (Philipines), each of which eventually required a fee after several long, torturous beta periods, and none of them played the same as IROSE or each other. A common complaint among the community of NAROSE was that the leveling and play-style were changed too much, and it lost much of it's fan base because of an awkward skill system and monsters that were too strong. In essence, you guys are right, IROSE closed down, but only to open the gate for a bunch of mediocre attempts to steal our money. Hopefully Evolution will be a hell of a lot better than what Gravity is dishing now, because if it isn't, you can bet that a lot of people will once again stop playing ROSE.

Well, during the "2nd beta" of iROSE, there were way more hackers than in the first beta. The 1st beta wasn't that bad...2nd one was really bad and the whole duping incident made a lot of people quit.

Almost sad how Gravity let the game go down the drain...no GM support because they all seemed to disappear, hackers taking over the game and posing as GMs...it might seem like it would be a nightmare, but a lot of people still played iROSE beta2 until they pulled the plug on it in August...great times, great times..
