i love old 2d games, think tibia, ashen empires, and some i dont even remember the name
But ive grown bored of them and theyr memberships

Anyone know's any good ones? some 3d are also fine (like RoE, planeshift, etc)

Also if theres a solid roleplay comunity, better!

ultima online great pvp very tactical lots spells good effect lots of monsters 2d over head view. basicaly everything u want in a midevil mmorpg lots depth its 6gigs and 2d so u know its got alot. used to be big time roleplay u can still find roleplay servers for it. but probably want to join uogamer:hybrid becouse its more popular and pretty proffesional been running for 7 years or more. but ultima online been running since 97.if u want free look up uogamers:hybrid there used to be a good big list of servers still is some but the main list is down becouse know ones heard from the guy in over a year.

yeah ultima online is VERY old school, but it can feel daunting at first.

For 2D I say Fallensword (link in my sig) or gamershadow (a bit boring this one. Still need development). U also have Gothador but I never liked it much.
For 3D, why don't u try Shadowbane, but it's only a 15 days Free trial :(

Shadowbane is fully free, and i hate it (has i prefer pve)
And wtf fallensword sucks
and for 2d, i prefer things like dragon raja(had great fun for awhile) and diablo, or ultima
And ultima is really hard for starters... but ill try again someday

Yeah i agree with guys up there, can't go wrong with ultima online. Best 2d game you can play, and its completely free!
