After playing FF a bit I would like an MMO that has decent community and a fair amount of players.

I was thinking TS but I dont even know if anyone plays it any more.. so can anyone else reccomend some good ones?

I can recommend you a really bad one. The only thing they did right was the turn based system:

Fairyland.

its a turnbased strategic game.u have diff units ans spell cards and stuff like that.

k... from the replies your getting it seems like your not asking for a turn based game.

Dofus Online is turnbased, Myth War is not.

If you can get into the closed beta, Wonderland Online is turn based and I hear is made by the same people who made TS Online.

I think it's really fun, though this might just be me, I keep starting over thinking that I messed up my character.
Not to mention the person who translated this game doesn't speak English very well, it seems.
