wat is ss?

I've heard of MM and SS in Guild Wars too... I know what MM (minion master) is, but the SS doesn't make any sense.

SS = Spitefull Spirit, an elite necro skill

Spitefull Spirit:
For 8...18 seconds, whenever target foe attacks or uses a skill, Spiteful Spirit deals 5...29 shadow damage to that foe and all adjacent foes.

Any ideas where I can capture SS for my necromancer?

Iron Mines of Moladune, Talus Chute, or Snake Dance.

Iron Mines would be the easiest way to go, unless you're not killing your way to infusion (which henchmen can easily do). There's a 1/3 chance that the Necro boss doesn't spawn and you get the Monk and Mesmer bosses instead.

I prefer the Talas Chute one, its just outside Camp Rankor. Just keep going in and out till you get the Necro boss

when i had my old necro he got it easily at Snake Dance me and my friend were jus fooling around killing everything we saw so...... yah.

Spiteful is awesome - i agree with Squirll - Talus is easiest.

basically all u need to do is go to Rankor and go back out in to Talus and see if i think Niggh Spinechill or something to that effect is there otherwuse go back in and retry - once spinechill is there kill it and cap it :D

SS is a great spell too.

I didn't mention I haven't got that far in Prophecies yet. Those place names don't sound like Faction's names, where my Necromancer is.

impossible to get it in Factions, its a prophecies only skill

Assuming you have both factions and prophecies on the same account:

To get from Factions to prophecies, there is a quest in Kaeing Center to take you to Tyria

To get from Prophecies to Factions, there is a quest in Lion's Arch (Mehnlo's Request) to go to Cantha.

ss isnt just a skill, its build. An SS typicaly is n/me and their main goal is to target attacking enemies and cast SS on them. They use arcane echo to duplicate the skill so they can cast it on multiple enmies.Doing so will double the dmg and often u can use the skill reckless haste to increase their attack speed which will triple the amount of damage done. Its more effective if used when the enmeis are closer together as it deals dmg to all surrounding enmies and is great for doing dual UW runs with a 55 monk for ectos. SS generaly works best on melee foes.
