Just wait until I go to and complete college! I'm currently working on a massive project I like to call (but mind you not always be called:D ) Cyberntasy. It's going to contain alot of aspects of Runescape. You can create your own character, battle powerful monsters, compete against others, embark on fascinating quests, collect awesome items, etc. EXCEPT, for one thing, none of that member's crud:mad: :mad: :mad: . The only thing that keeps you from glorious enhanced gameplay, will be how skilled you are at the game. Second, you experience all of this, in practically virtual three-dimensional format. And third, if you join and play Cyberntasy, you'll have access to all kinds of extra stuff. For a few examples, you'll have access to the entire site and all of it's features, such as forums, chat rooms, and all kinds of other cool stuff. Then, you can enjoy the game's ingame bonuses, such as your own abode to decorate and such, a horoscope that actually affects your performance in the game, and many other different concepts. I just wanted you all to read about my dream...

I doubt it will happen, youll find out making a game like that isn't easy

Man it took jagex more then 10 years to perfect runescape, its going to take about the same time/ more, because they had more experiance than you.

Not quite. I'm going to do this once I complete an education, and I'll hire a bunch of people, and then jumpstart this then. (And as I've told you all in the top post, Cyberntasy isn't going to be the real name, just a little startup name, as I get down it's outline)

I'm going to consider that, but given how much stuff I'm going to cram into this game, it may just end up being a past consideration in the end. But I will think about it, mind you.

i dont know why all you people are doubting him, you dont even know him. i mean i dont either, but i think he will be able to make the game. he has a great idea for the game and a great outline for the game. i know that it takes a long time to make a game, i im pretty sure it will take him a long time to make it, but that doesnt mean he wont succeed. i wont be surprised when in mabye 12 years his game is even more popular than runescape.

If you are planning on making a game as good as runescape it will take more than ten years becuse right now runescape is still being perfected :D . And for gaming java is the best programing language. I do not know how to use but i have used Visual basic. And guys don't be baggin' because programing is hard.:D

It'll probably be downloadable, as soon as someone figures out how to kill viruses and trojans hitch-hiking on files.

Okay if you plan on doing this please o please don't use java. Get the best C++ compiler you can get. Get 3DSMAX, get a staff of highly or just good people at these things. Get a manegment staff, you need sound enginering, ummm you gotta pay for servers....all of that cost alot of money along with alot of commitment. And if you base it on Runescape the game will suck. Look at Eternal-Lands.

Agreed. But don't use Java C++ is so much better in so many ways. But tho it is harder it is worth it...i'm 13 and I make games with it :D
But you really want to use Direct X with it so you can import sounds and graphics, and there is no limit on what you can do with C++ you just need to learn the complex code which after a while becomes easy. And Blizzard use C++ to make their games.
To get a free C++ compilers search BloodShed Dev-C++ on google.

sounds like a nice idea but before u make it make some games that simple stuff in em not necissarily good games but just so u can get the hang of it

Start with basics then make simple windows applications like a text editor, then do some interactive stuff the work on some small games with sprites, then work on a small 3D game, then do some O.S. Content, then make some RPGS, then make a big game:D :rolleyes: ;)
