Nvidia Geforce 9600GT 512 MB or ATI Radeon HD 3870 512 MB?

They're both the same price on this site, so I just want to know which one performs better.

The 9000 series sucks, really. It got bad reviews. Just get the 8800 GTX.

But if you wanna choose between them, I'd go with the Radeon. The only problem with it is that it may burn out quicker than an Nvidia.

I have an extremely gay nvidia 7600 GS, So yeah i would agree with anything better than my heap. ^_^

I have the ati radeon hd 3870 x2, and i can say i pretty much love it

Ummm, hard choice. I go with the 9600GT though, each are better at certain games but the 9600gt runs cooler, more power efficient and overclocks like a beast oh and the drivers dont suck. Don't buy a 8800gtx lol(price difference is like $150?)

I asked this myself awhile back on a hardware forum, everyone said 9600GT.
