View Full Version : The Sakura is Blooming Over Here!
So basically I found out that the sakura has started to bloom in a city park not too far from me so I decided to use my three-hour of free time between my monday lessons to take some pictures because the weather was real nice and sakura don't tend to bloom for that long.
Now I'm sharing some of the pictures with you, enjoy! :)

Nice, we never get blue skies like that in Oregon. Even if the sky is blue, it's always a depressing almost grey type of blue.

The sky wasn't that dark blue, it was pretty much lighter.

I've been seeing them around my home town as well, beautiful trees.
I really wish I had one now.
Does anyone know how long they take to grow? Are they relatively quick? I didn't think they could live through our winters, but, I'll be damned - I saw some today.

Yea, I like Sakura trees. They are so great when they bloom, and its also nice when they start to lose their petals.

onrpg... i.. i... didnt know you cared
i dunno bout the rest of you but imabout sick of winter. we had hailstones yesterday and that was on top of about three days of rain and cloud. sitting in your room all day working is infinitely more depressing when the outside is one ceaseless collage of grey.
bring on the summer, shorts, bbq's and skinny dipping is what i say

I've never seen these trees outside of video games.
They don't grow well in New Hampshire, I guess.
I really love this kind of place, it's a good place to walk around with ur Bf's and Gf's. Also just to relax without the comp .

In KC the grass is so green and the trees are all dead. It's a surprising contrast after being in South America for a month where it's fall.
No beautiful cherry blossoms in Kansas.

LOL at the n00bs who got hail after 3 days of coldness.
Here in Toronto we've had like a week and a half of +20°C temperatures!
(That's roughly 68° and above for you American peoples who are too afraid to get naked)

You better hurry then, from what I've heard they just bloom for a week and I think it started last Friday or so.
