Yeah, made this to prety much experiment with the capabilities of the GIMP pen tool as my PS elements doesn't have a pen tool. Yeah, sug was an alias i used to use on my drawings and such back in the day. My 'logo' kind of resembled this what I recreated. Everything was created by me except for the text 'straight up gangster'.

clean pen tool as far as GIMP can take you, i think it would be better on a transparent background, and I like the gradient.

but seriously, the only type of gangster that would use this as a logo is a straight up butt gangster.

@ Serix, not a gradient, render > lighting effects. Much, much more control and smother over small surfaces. Yep. I'm beginning to master the power of this.

Oh and it looks pretty dam good in plain black with no fill in it but seriously, i'd get no replies. I've got to add a little flare to generate interest.

Hehehe xD I don't need to prove anything to anyone Mr. Smart-***. I'm free to have my own opinion, I don't like it, it's too plain, some edges are too pointy for my taste and the G looks weird (in the bad way). And I don't think he needs a lawyer to stand up for him.

At first I was like what does SUG mean, then i read the samall white text, I like what you did with the text. I rate it a 8.5/10.

As a PS User im not very Familiar With The way gimp works Nor am I fond of it :D

I'm not antagonizing here, everything that I write is based on my personal sense of taste and no matter what you say it won't change so why not get over it and move on. There's nothing he did wrong, it's a well MADE Logo it's just that I don't like it so I have no rights to tell him what to correct because it's all my own individual view. It's like telling some random guy in a restaurant to buy a roast duck just because you like it. I hope you can comprehend my point.
