You do get a month free but you still state what you pay after that.

I had to sign up to these forums to post, There are free private servers everywhere.. Just go look for and download the World of Warcraft Trial Client (Which is the full game), download it and patch it to the correct version that the private server supports and follow the instructions on their website. I have played on free servers my whole entire life, they are very good quality. Below is the one I currently switched to.

Blizzard is looking out for themselves, this so that kids under the age of 18 are restricted from World of Warcraft without getting consent from their parents. They are not only watching out for themselves though, they're watching out for you 'cause there can be some real idiots on the game and some mature content that they don't want to be held responsible for.
