Simplicity to an extent is nice. But when you only have four plus symbols, a barely visible background, and a homoerotic Rapper, you really only leave yourself with the scraps.

Also, the first one is only bland because there are no colors, no depth, and the only picture with anything done to it is the one with Lupe in a hat, and all that has is a stroke and a dropshadow. :-/

I lol'd hard at the bold part, and I didn't do anything to that pic of Lupe in a hat, so I guess that could add to the negative factor.

Also, it might be bland because I lack the talent to do anything creative in Photoshop, as well as find good resources.
