does dex help u from missing more?

yeah, dex increases your accuracy, attack speed, an critical rate

Well say I am going to be a AOE assist and ppl say that u need str and sta.
Why don't u need dex?
Doesn't that mean u will always miss?

Skills never miss (except for those that have a built-in chance of missing, but that's different and depends on skill-level, not dex).

Accuracy (and Haste) are only for normal attacks.

Dex is not that important, even if you are going for attack speed as a 1v1 BP or Blade. You'll only need about 60-80 dex, buffs will max out your speed.
