I think it is.. For what other reason would Blizzard go through the trouble of buying out a domain name? Perhaps they are only prospecting the outcome of making a diablo 3 game (which would be very, very high. There are so many diablo fans it's rediculous), but it's still showing that they are atleast interested in a continuation of the diablo franchise.
