Yea.. i just reinstalled Diablo 2 on my comp and when i click on the game it shows up a black screen... and i cant get out of it.

Does anyone know how to fix this or has had this problem as well?

Mmm probably the graphic thingy you choose when you installed, just run '' D2VidTst.exe '' in your D2 folder and then do the test (or skip them) and take the other one (you have the choice between Direct Draw and Direct 3D .... (Do it 2 times cause it auto-select Direct3D so you have no way to know which one you choose unless you remember)

Else I really don't know...

Yeah the video test thingy should tell you if it works or not, and whats best to use.

You also might need to update your graphic card drivers. If u have Vista and use Directx10 I'm not sure if you can play it (you might want to do a quick search in google to see if anyone else have the same problem in case none of what was suggested works)

You can, i have dx10 and vista on my new pc and diablo runs fine.
I only had a few problems installing it (regarding the video test and crap)

Thanks for the vista answer :) I'm still running on XP and I refuse to "upgrade" to vista. The requirements are just stupid :P
