I just came across this and thought I should post it. It's a long list of free to play MMORPGs that all have nice graphics. I have already downloaded a couple of these to check them out.

My two current favorites are "CABAL" and "Perfect World". Both these games have sweet graphics and are pretty fun. Cabal has a cool arcade feel to it when you are smashing mobs.

There were also a bunch of games on here I hadn't heard of yet, cause it looked like the ones at the top of the list were new. If you are in Cabal or Perfect World and you see "KillerMoo" run by give me a shout! ^_^

THREE games with fair GFX. all the rest are just... eh... they all look similar with dated GFX.

mmorpg need to start using DX10 so i have a reason to buy vista.

2 Moons, SOTNW, and PW all have pretty decent graphics from that list, but some of them don't deserve to be on their like, Metin 2, WOKF etc.

Somebody in the know, should make a proper list of "Best Graphics f2p MMORPGS", both released, and in development / beta.

Unfortunately it won't be me as I don't know enough about whats out their, but I would cetainly start the list of with SP Online, & Mabingogi Hero's.

Lol, the Hero Online screenshot you used is a screenshot of AthlaS. That pwns.

Thanks Zaraki. this thread hasn't really helped me because everyone keeps mentioning the games they think are bad but don't offer any suggestions for games they think are good. I found your post very useful!

Anyhow..if it did mean the F2P mmorpg's with the best graphics, then thats stupid because most of those are crappy looking they just sized the screenshots down so that they gain quality..

Also theres a lot of anime/cell shaded mmorpgs so those would have to be completely based on opinion, also some like RO's style of graphics or red stones etc.

And yeah..if u play it on Max gfx, and with the skill effects it look decent enuph for me.

I quited many games on that list because the graphic is bad.
Some are good, yes. But many have bad graphic.
It should be a list of 3d mmorpg instead.

i unno the graphix in quite a bit of them i like its the game play and comunity they turns me off.>_>

Well, despite some games are really awful (both gameplay and graphic wise), there are still a good number of games on the list that actually have good graphics... You guys seriously need to appreciate other people's work, regardless of rather they are perfect (or if they fit perfectly into your ideology). No need to flame you know...

the visual "thing" and the "best looking" thing are about the list.
they added screenshots to them to show how the games look like, not that those games are the best looking...
and btw: if the person who made this list has the opinion that these games are the best and he made a list of them, then that's his opinion. just like when anyone of you would make a list and put other games in it..

people really need to learn to "force" graphics

Obviously he based those games purely on the screenshots, if he had tried them, he will not have more than 10 games in the list.

no not exzactly Darknight, ive actually played eatch individual game, if u want i can make a full game review on eatch but w.e... i usually force the graphix out of eatch game as in sweeps said...the only reason i see some one saying one of these games looks bad is either they have it on verry low specs or not high enuph.

you shouldnt rate a game with forced graphics as most ppl probably wont be able to run it

best thing to do is to rate the graphics on medium

Zaraki can you please post your follow-up list when you get a chance. It was interesting going through some of the initial titles you listed. The only ones I didn't look into much where the games without an "english" version of the site because I feel the language barrier affects the learning curve of the game. Thanks for the previous suggestions though.

but most of my games I like are foreign games.....

though all the others non-foreign games are already talked about on this website....


personally though I think anyone can play the MMOTPS S4 League since it doesn't require any neeed to understand korean....

and the game looks pretty good I have posted screenshots on it a page or two back on the screenshot forum.

Thanks to everyone that sent me feedback on the list. I have been doing a lot of updates and adding different titles people suggested. I did not include the Korean sites because I wanted the list to be really easy for anyone to use.

In regards to some of the negative feedback, I am only trying to create a list of games to help people find what they are looking for. I am not trying to "out do" existing lists. I just want to provide another resource for people to find the free games they love. I do appreciate your feedback as well though, it helped me make some corrections to the information on the list. Thanks again.

I have been lurking on the forums for the past few weeks and have been taking down notes for future updates. OnRPG is an awesome resource, please keep up the good work!

Umm imo SoTNW has the best graphics for an F2P, that or Requiem.

The list isn't that bad, It's just named wrongly.
"Best visuals" makes people think of best graphics and alot of the games on the list don't have all that great graphics.
