First and foremost, I would like to say that I did post this in the Free MMORPG Request section of the forums. I only got around three replies, and let's face it, not many people actually look there, so please forgive me for posting it here and this is the first time that I have done this. Just that I would very much appreciate more opinions on games and things of that nature.

Okay, I been cycling through so many games. One's that are coming out seems to be good but those will not go into Open Beta any time soon. I am looking for a game that I can enjoy or possibly come addicted to for more then two or three days. One thing that I do not like about some games is that they make all the characters look alike, etc.

Some things I am looking for:
PvE
PvP
Good Community
Either Released or in OB
Character Customization [Every character does not look alike. Such as Grand Chase, Trickster, etc.]
Must be free, so no Age of Conan and World of Warcraft, please.

I played many many many games. Any idea would be helpful, I am in a dry spell.

PvE is a must, as I do it the most but you have the ability to PvP.
Also, the game must look good and have good customization.
The character has to be atleast pretty nice in general, think Rohan, Shaiya, etc, etc.

I played everyone you listed except Exteel so I may try it out. As for Guild Wars, I bought all three things: Prophecies/Nightfall/Factions. I was a monk in some moderately high guilds, mainly handling spikes and things. What is Dark and Light about?

I literally just uninstalled Shaiya today. Although, I still have the installer thing in my Recycle Bin, I may re-install it.

What is GTH? Also, I was thinking of playing Regnum just can not understand a word of Spanish.

If you lag in Rappelz, I REALLY don't think you could handle Dark and Light.

there isnt much lag in rappelz unless the server is crowded or if you are in town.

tip: there is an option to turn off every player and pet in town.
it REALLY helps.:p

Such as how you can toggle people off and on, such as DOMO and Tales of Pirates? Anyway, I usually read the background story of the game as well.

As far as characters go, it seems like Rohan will have quite the extensive customization. Sounds promising.

Well.. Rappelz does lag if you don't have a decent connection and graphic card. But even still you will mostly experience some lag whenever you encounter a big crowd of players. As far as gameplay, it has PVE, a lot of party PVE, PVP when you grinded hard enough (you really don't want to pvp until you are lvl 80, which takes...... a while >_>), seige (again, high lvl stuff, it's for 80+). As far as good community, they are not bad; personally I feel Rappelz has one of the more mature community, and they are mainly Americans/Europeans. If you don't mind grinding and you love partying with people for PVE (it's just a worse kind of grind, actually), then Rappelz is the shxt for you. lol

GTH is kind of old school... last time played it was around 2-3 years ago on Malaysian server, so it's no surprise their graphics isn't that high ended >_>. As far as game play... the classes are unbalanced pvp wise last time I played (used to have lvl 80 shapeshifter, and he sucked in pvp -_-). Mages were non-existent except for healing purposes (the cleric path). I wonder if they changed anything from the old client. But GTH is another very party dependent grinding game, and PVP is more free in GTH (you just have to point and click on the maps that are open for pvp, which are maps around lvl 40+ or so). These are just old info from Malaysian server, you might need people who are actuallying playing this game again and update you about it >_>.

Maybe you can try Cabal Online too, I suppose. A lot of quest, grind, and fast paced PVP once you grinded hard enough (not as bad as Rappelz grind though), and a okay community I suppose? Too much gold seller bots in Cabal Online though, so that's a huge minus. So yeah... or just wait for OB of Rohan and such.

Oh, cool, I play on Lydian too, XD. Although I don't play as much anymore because of school work and all that... Rappelz takes too much time =/. My CM has same IGN as my onrpg account name, lol. He is only 72 ._. though. It's just too much for me to grind on him now to get to R4... sigh. I don't even think I will get there, but oh well.

I'm level 16, took about two hours or so, maybe three, with two friends sharing the xp from quest monsters :D
If you do restart, I'll make a new character
I already have a Dark Magician so maybe a melee character this time
Unless you can catch up to us relatively fast

well i already have a lvl 3 char on lydian. but you guys are never on:-/

uh perfect world is Big PVP, PVE, PV....whatever, how ever if you under 16 the PEDO's in that game can sense it. its kinda like a Wow rip off. Cabal online?
