I'm horribly getting from 8.5-15.5 FPS and i hate it but i still can play tho.

In the general beta i got 10~80 fps after the latest patch, it was so random i deleted the game.

game content comes under NDA... FPS can come under hardware and they haven't talked about content

pvp beta weekend i was always getting the cap of 64. in open beta i get 10-20. for some reason this open beta won't use more than 20% of my 3870 gpu.

ohshit I just realize AoC means age of conan...no wonder...

fyi the reason why this game is lagging is because its an older client the only reason they are using this is to test out there servers....and another reason it lags so is becasue of the debug menu still in the game (press ctrl and ~ to access it)....also try enabling anti aliasing it somehow increases the framerate.....all of this is facts look up the age of conan forums the proof is there...


and also has everyone gotten an email from funcom discussing the changes being done on the 10th...if you have any lvl 13 characters they will be raised to lvl 20 and all area's will be unlocked and game will be pure pvp

my friend let me try his account and for me I got smooth FPS all they way didn't notice any slow down at all.

yes thats right, they are using an older client then CB, which has the debugger which takes up ram, its also got a few bugs there fixing,

No NDA for the Age of Conan open beta. Every beta tester was sent an e-mail regarding that the NDA had been cancelled and people were allowed to discuss the game, take screen shots and record movies of the game.

how big is this game when fully installed? a 13gb download for a closed beta made me lol, i guess in a few years time games will be over 50 gigs and thats just for the demo

The retail game comes on 2 DVD's .. the beta dosen't even have the DX10 data yet and that will take more space.

the reason the beta client is larger is because not all data is compressed yet once release date comes the client released will ahve compressed data

The only thing I hate about big games is that they get corrupted when downloaded a lot, I had a Vanguard subscription, downloaded the big *** files, and they all turned out to be corrupted, downloaded it again (from the official site btw) and it was corrupted AGAIN, so I gave it away. Downloaded Age of Conan just now from Usenet (Fileplanet sucks) and I got some weird error on installation (something like destination file size is smaller than local file), it's still installing though, it didn't stop, if it turns out to be corrupted, oh boy.

Just tried it, my FPS is around 35 to 40, my specs are:

Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600
Geforce 8800GT
2GB RAM

Everything on high, 1680x1050, AA x16, DirectX 9
