i used to be a freshmen in an art school in manhanttan called laguardia.i love art, airbrushing to sketching anime.(i'll make a deviant account:P)
towards half of school year, which is i'd say 3rd report card(boy i don't even know),
i started to slack off and get failed grades(i'm an average student, i fool around ALOT but still get the job done) due to the fact that i didn't go to school much.

the reason i didn't go was because my parents couldn't pay off the depts, my grandmother died and other issues. Anyway we got a loan and moved to long island, white *** neighorhood and I trying to get used to it. I was a little overwhelmed by the new highschool i was signing into.

it was maybe because of the change, from going to a city dirty public school to a campus looking neato public highschool. if you mst know, the HS is name Schreiber(many major, not just art.) and i'm thinking of joining art there too :). i got a few options here:

-start going to school in september
-go ASAP

my question is, will i have to repeat the WHOLE freshmen year or just half of it?..(missing/failed portions). my other question is, what would you do? if you waere in a situation like this, would you go ASAP or start a fresh new year....

if i go september, i can help my pastor on his missionary trip to dominica republic which is cool. i can work out?? im chubby from games.. and i couldn't go outside because personal problems, but i'm tall which evens it a bit... not realyly >_>.(not health related or strict parents) i can chillaxors playing counter strike not worrying about HW or tests.

i fool around and write dumb stuff here but just be seriall, or i'll make a fist fly out of your computer screen and slap you :O
this is seriall for me and would like your opinion... i be sad if this thread gets sweeped away without any post

Jesus died for our sins, so asking what would Jesus do is totally undermining his sacrifice.

I swear, dont bring Jesus into onrpg, the internet didn't exist when he died for our sins.

But really, you should ask your professor about this, because if he says he'll advance you to the next year if you keep going, then start going religiously.

If he says you have to repeat the year, take a break, chillax, and stop deadlocking yourself in drawing anime.

okay, thanks alot.

i had to mask the real story and just make one up so it's confusing :)
i should ask the professor, i just didn't know the us school standards, it looks like i have to start at september, schools reaching finals and if i join in now, i wouldn't know anything

Not at all.

Jesus is the perfect example of how we should live our lives. Key word here is EXAMPLE; Jesus was Human as well as being Divine. That He in the Bible could live like a Human being and still maintain perfection and never sin is an excellent example.

It is but a rhetorical question, another way of saying, "What would Jesus, God in the form of a Human, do in a situation like this?" Or, "What is the scriptural way to do this, in accordance with the Law?"

I don't see at all how it undermines His sacrifice.

Anyway, to answer your question as to what Jesus would do, you can only go to scripture.

If your grades were failing, I would recommend that you do the Freshman year again to catch up now that you can focus on it without tragedies in the family depressing you and drawing you away from your studies.

plus 90% of Onrpg is atheist and will start a bashing spree...
might as well start now, get school over with faster..
