You don't need RAM for a graphics card.. That 512MB means the graphics card has 512MB video RAM integrated (you can't use it as memory RAM) But if you have less than 512MB I still recommend you to buy a new computer.

the HD2400 along with geforce 8400-8500 are the worst cards ever and you should avoid them like plague

If you don't have 512mb of RAM, you've got a pretty outdated system. It might bottleneck with your graphics card being much more up to date than your system. But, go with the one Takkun posted.

I suggest upgrading to 2 gigs of ram 1 gig might be enough but I f you don;t want your computer running slow then two gigs will do it....

also if your going to upgrade to a new graphics card get something alot better both of those are bad....
