And I find it an Epic Failure so, lol.

The first two are not bad as for the zombie you could add some light/dark effects to make it look better. Smoother edges would help too ;p

Here's what I meant by light/dark effects

I also shortened it's legs

EDIT: Dang I forgot to save as BMP, now the quality got worse.

And by smoother edges I meant the stiff looks of it, he looks like it's cloths were made out of paper, a few folds here and there would help a lot. And they don't have to be so symmetric, that's unnatural.

Wow, would you mind explaining how you did that?

With Photoshop, you could use the eyedropper tool to copy the color, than color the places where you want shadowing (this will color it with the color you chose, but a little darker, if you want it even darker, color over it again)

I hope you can understand my explanation, I have a feeling it was very bad lol.

Not really, I guess you mean that when you select the eyedropper tool it will select the same color, but a tint darker, although when I do it it selects the same color, so I could use the Burn / Dodge tools instead.

PS: Am I the only one that sees "X" es at the images now? I hope so, if anyone elses sees it tell me and I'll reupload

I modified it in paint, theres no need for Photoshop for such a plain picture, all you need is some common knowledge about shadow/light casting areas. It's really easy.

I have that common sense just don't know HOW to put it into work.

Hmm. It may seem hard for you since you seem to be a beginner in art, no offense just point out the obvious. You need to learn to see, not watch but SEE, analyze things you see and try to memorize their characteristics. For shadow/light practice you could use some action figures and a flashlight. As for the material training put a towel or something else on a chair in different poses and see how folds are forming. After a while it will become your habit and you won't have to put anything on your chair, you'll have the basic characteristics in your mind, a great imagination is the key for becoming a good artist. I'm still a beginner also but I try to learn something new every time I draw and I can already see improvements in my art. Good luck dude.

EDIT: It may sound like complete bullshit because I'm not good at explaining things xD

EDIT 2: And I didn't say common sense but common knowledge and those are two different things. ;p

I know stuff like that, I'm a beginner at pixel art, but I used to draw a few years back so I do have a little bit of knowledge :P:P [Note: LITTLE bit] but, I just have NO idea how to shade it, I do know the "Gradient Tool" but that's just lame+ugly.

All objects react to light in the same way: they create lighter and darker areas. The area where the light is coming from is obviously the lighter section. However because lighter colors are often seen as bad shading (they represent colors which aren't actually part of an object, darker shading is primarily used. To shade darker, pick a darker color and shade accordingly. Because this is pixel art you just use the pencil tool or whatever using whatever darker color you choose. Because pixel art is usually relatively simple, you can often change it as you wish and any fine details can always later be added. Just shade darker where the light is creating darkness or where you'd think it'd be. If you have no idea what I'm talking about, study real life objects.
