Im not quite sure right now. I keep hearing that Source is better than 1.6 and I that they both possess the same qualities though Source possesses more.

I'm just asking for opinions about the two games and if you can please tell me which one is more populated.

Source is CS with new graphics and a totally different engine so all the physics are different. I think 1.6/CZ is the best and most balanced of them all.

yeah i think cs 1.6 has more people in it, (never gets old! :D ) But source DOES have more graphix but i think cs 1.6 has more servers and stuff

i believe 1.6 is more populated since 1.6 been around for awhile and people do not want to spend $50 on source beside people who play source, majority of them suck, i played it couple of times at my cousin house but what i did like was the graphic and the large # of people in a game(i like to play on big servers)

1.6 has more people and have good gameplay. it also has many different kind of servers
