hey everyone just wanted some feedback on this sample of a project im working on....its a cel-shaded me holding my sword

I think he took a picture of himself and draw the lines with black

did it with photoshop.....took a picture of myself and my sword then took my sweet time outlining every detail lol..no life yes i know

lol if you can manage to make the original pic look like that in ms paint then you'd have to be a god buddy

^ Actually that's pretty easy, the level of detail you presented is close to non-existing. The range of colors you used is not very varied and the shadow/light effects are barely visible making the whole picture look like it's unfinished. Not that I think it's bad, but I had to put my 5 cents here when I read the comment above.

well yea i know its not the greatest i did say it was a sample lol but im saying its impossible to do those things in ms paint.......cant even have a transparent background in ms paint
also check out the main post i added a little more to it

Indeed it might be impossible to do all those things EXACTLY like in PS but I'm sure you could obtain the same or even better result using MS tools, well maybe except the transparent background but that's nothing.
EDIT: Yeah looks better on a black background but I still miss advanced/intense shadows.
EDIT 2: I know it was sample but since you posted the unfinished product I bet you needed some comments, positive and negative which might provide you with valuable information that would help you improve your work.
