Yup.They will ban you for not selling rare items like sara plates to them for 100 coins.Or for selling more items than they are.Ban you for anything they can think of.My friend has gotten banned...twice.Dosent matter what you do,they find a way to ban you.

-They can get a great 3D modeling program like 3DS Max and import into java.
-Use Direct X
-Add more areas.
-If they did use C++ they can make amazing models import into Direct X use a Direct X code improt it into a header C++ file, make the client,the game, compile it all and have a really good game.

K I seriously don't know where everyone is getting the "mods try to ban you for everything" Seriously guys get your facts straight. MODS aren't actually in the game playing with us, only player mods who don't have the power to straight up bann players, only to mute for like 10 mins and of course, their abuse reports have top priority.

If for some reason they don't have enough time to review all of the abuse reports and ban appeals they let it go and ignore it, they don't just say "oh well **** it just bann all these accounts." Thats pretty irrisponsible and they would get fired for that. I got banned for macroing once (caught me through multi logging to trade over) and I sent in an appeal and got off with only a 7 day ban. They said in their rules they have a ZERO tollerance to cheating, why did I get off so easy? they probably didn't have enough time to read my appeal. Jagex mods are NOT corrupt, theres no reason for them to be corrupt.

you can pretty much see the indents and errors in everything when you walk by it.. and then they coninuosly use the same thing over and over (same style walls, duplicate buildings, ETC.)

There is only one thing that is spoiling runescape, it is the community.

I like the fact that you can battle monsters, go on quests, and enhance skills all in a medieval-themed, 3-D format and all. But I do agree that the community does have it's notorious measures.
The Good::cool: There's hardly ever anyone else not on your screen unless you're in a place less-often visited.
The Bad::mad: Pretty much all of your understandable critisms.

I agree that the community is notoriously flawed, but for a 3-D game, it does have good graphics compared to others. TRUST ME on that one. And, yes, the fights are a tad boring. You just wait for either of you to perish.

Here are some reasons why Runescape is not worth playing.

- Easy to hack/bot.
- Way too much clicking for cooking/mining/walking/etc.
- Horrible graphics. (They look like robots when attacking.)
- Horrible music. (Why'd they bother adding it?)
- Horrible monsters. (I love to fight rats and chickens!)
- Runes for spells is overkill.
- Community is possibly the worst ever found in an mmorpg. (They either give no reply or they act retarded. Well, most of the users are kids, who don't know about better games.)

There are plenty of games you could play instead of this. I tried to go back to it, but the main reason it stinks is because of the community and the monotonous clicking.

Yeah... almost everything about is bad, only reason I stuck with it for so long is because I got good at it and addicted for some reason. It has veryyy slow gameplay, tcombat is just plain gay..

Yeah I hate RuneScape. I only visit it for a few friends I have on it who live far away, and (as much as I try to get them to at LEAST upgrade to Maple) still love this game... I just log in and mine for RuneEssence or give free money to noobies. But then their all like "OMG OMG THANX SO MUCH" but then they go back to their spot and SPAM "LEIK I WAZ HACKOORZED PLZ HELP ME!!" ...such a bad community.

But the sheer number of things to do in Runescape, plus the constant updating is a plus. If they were to create a version with Modern Day Graphics (downloadable not crap Java) I think they might have a shot to be good competition for some of the elite MMOs out there right now.

The entire game is server based, impossible to hack (at best you can make it seem as if you have stats for people only on YOUR computer).

Free rs is crap, you cant do any thing butt level or pk. I can under stand they need money, but look at gunz I. They grafics would be just fine if the gameplay is good. Have you ever been fishing on runescape? It is nothing but kids spaming, "Pkr123: glow1:scroll: <>< <>< <>< <><". That all you see is spam. Never walk in to a bank in varrock if you are talking to a friend. It gets spamed, "Roy10004: flash3: sellling mith long 1k!!!!!!!!

,and so on. I would get a membership but 5 dollars is not even worth a month of rs. Random events has a good start, but when you get the Frog token 6 times it gets a little bit waste of time. Mage is one of the most expensive charactor to be, it cost more to tele grab then what you really grab. It is around 500-1k coins for a law and you have to have a staff unless you want to waste more runes. So if you got the staff and a rune worth 1k you can get a gold bar or a ruby rung that you can sell for a few hundred coins. There are many things that are not worth buying, like a cross bow it does nothing. The gold trim armor does nothing different but look good. The monsters..... I would love to go to level 20 some wild and kill hill giants :rolleyes: I mean really a rat is a monster.....

I could go on but I have other things to do. My point is rs needs to go back and fix all the bugs and make a better story line, and better items, and please make it downloadable to keep kids away and have better grafics.

i also hate random events, because they randomly kill you for stand there and going to get a piece of cake =(

The level 40 friend had many advantages over my sister and thus my sister realized that to truely enjoy the game you would have to pay.

The graphics are fine for a browser game thats run on java...why does everyone think that the graphics are supposed to be like the x box 360s graphics?The story is the same as any other rpg game.Fight stuff,get stronger,do quests.The same freaking things.

Runescape SUCKS because,
1. Graphics = Horrible to such a degree that they will ruin your eyes by causing interal bleeding in your skull.
2. Community is like the worst of all factors because,
Corrupt Gms (aka ten year olds playing at the library or somthing)
the shemales and he-shes trying to pick up other woman or men (Wtf?)
the fact that everyone in the game has add or isnt very mature. Theres much more but im too lavy to list my 1000's of complaints.

I can tell by your grammer, but I don't blame you or any other 10 year old. I blame libraries, parents, and schools for not adding runescape.com to the block list. Playing runescape will DECREASE your IQ, this is not a joke, my friend has his own tests to prove it. Okay so he got tested one year in school(duh, everyone does, also this was around the time he started on runescape) but at the end of the school year his spelling and grammer went down 20% on the state test. Every since then he has quit runescape and now he gets high scores again, runescape ****s up your spelling. I still haven't fully recovered from 3 years of runescape, but I'm hoping within the next few months I'll be rehabilitated!

Why it's good:

Some of you guys are getting noob mixed up with newbie. If somebody is acting annoying, they are a noob. A lvl 56 can call a lvl 90 a noob i they are really annoying. Newbies are the lvl 50 and unders, or ppl without a skill above 50.

Wrong Jagex doesnt choose anyone to be a Mod only trust worthy players
if a mod was to abuse their power they would be banned cause Jagex reviews all mute cases.

Mods cannot BAN they only MUTE you for 48 hours while Jagex reviews the case. Please do not give RuneScape a bad name by saying ignorant and false things.

any other mmorpg is the same you click to kill enemies and your done.

.... I didn't say it was the best, theres just no better game that is not sold in a gamestop in my opinion i mean cmon. quest from other games are just get item and your done. WOW amazing storyline. and so what if its right click and left click, other games are like that, unless you play an FPS or maple story (which is completely gay, no pvp, 2-d poser.) And so what if runescape has no guilds yet there working on it. Atleast rs quest take time and your brain and in the end it has a better reward and sometimes even an ending! it makes it worth your while. If you actually work hard, you can do clan pk trips which i have never tried but want to anxiously. I have seen a 200 man war in the wilderness 4 different clans It was Amazing! and all the reward is actually worth it! not some 14k weapon which you need to be level 49 to weild. In rs you have your own house, go to war in a castle have over 100 Story-Lined quest that require you to do things, AGILITY! I mean have you played rs private servers along with rs! I own my rs-server many emoticons are way better then any other game. i mean think about it any other mmorpg's is exactly the same.

create character -> go through tutorial -> level up -> get unique armor -> wood cut , mine , smith , cook , make a house , and many more -> expeirence quests (with cut-scenes and all with a unique storyline and some quest are long that there are 2 parts!) and how you can do it with other players! -> do mini-games many types! from wars to managing a buisness! from fishing to saving a boat! and how you can do it with other players! -> join a huge *** clan! -> have clan events from clan mini-games , clan meetings , clan monster fights and PVP WARS THATS ACTUALLY WORTH DOING!!!!! -> after all that its still not done. you can merchant make a buisness team up with other people and stick around for future updates!!!!!!!!!!

The reason people play runescape is because their computer is bad or a friend recommended it to them. Just a lot of them get hooked, and I agree that if rs got a better combat system and a better community they would be WAY more popular.:eek:

Actually, RS wasnt THAT bad a few years back. pretty cool I guess. But now that games like WoW and Guild Wars have been released, RS will have a hard time competing. WoW sold over 1,000,000 copies in Australia alone. You RS fans gotta admit, yo've got some tough competition.

RS IS FREE - this is good because you dont have to pay anything though it is also bad because it attracts lots of 10year old kids with no money...

GRAPHICS - ive played this game since 2002, it started (2000ish) back then the graphics looked like south park, and it was one of the very few free mmo's i could find... also if your computer sucks this might be the only game you can play....

MAGES - mages are not expensive... hahaha... mages are cheap, (BTW if you are smart you buy laws in bunches for 300ea) someone was complaing about the runes, made me laugh...

COMBAT - yea they are due for an upgrade... it been the same since it came out....in 2000...

MODERATERS - if you got banned your a freakin tard... if you get 10 strikes from jagex you are permently banned, if you sware once and someone reports you, then you just got one strike... so think about it? Were you banned unfairly or do you have a diarhea mouth??? i got banned once and it was cause i was talking about dicks and vaginas when i was 12... lol if you got banned youre just not bright...

PLAYER MODS CANT BAN YOU, all they can do is mute you and report you to jagex, you are the only person to blame if you get banned....

RANDOMS - they are here to "try" and stop macroing.... sum1 complained about it??!?!

BORING - lol, all mmorpgs are boring ive played them all from wow to ms... they all are boring and addicting, so you really cant call one game boring and another not....
