Well people keep on asking me why im "So Rich....". So i decided to make a guide on doing so...


Pots...more pots!!!!POTS

Well I always hear people saying how they can earn money if they are burning pots!

Answer : Kill monsters that drop more mesos and expensive item that cost more than ur pots.... You should also take advantage of you skills For Exp: Mages have Mp Recovery which allow you to stop wasting pots and save mesos but it certainly doesnt save time....(this is how to get rich guide not how to save time..) Mp eater/meso -up/alchemist


Buy/Sell

This is for lucky people who come across noobs... Buy low sell high!

For example: last week i saw a noob selling tobis for 1.5 mil.... NO TIME TO THINK OF YOU MORALS AND TELL TEH NOOB ITS WORTH 2.5 MIL!

You take advantage.... Try to bargain it out with him... tomake it sound like he is over pricing it... if your really lucky he will lower it in my case he did ... he sold the tobi to me for 1.3 mil... easy 1.2 mil gain...

I sold as high as possible at 2.5 mil for tobis...

IF your buying items you should look for the people that been trying to sell a certain item for a long time... the are mostly more easy to suade..
Bargain liek crzy!


Hunt!hUNT~

Hunting is always important but it might make you lose money or gain tremendously

You should hunt something that is easy to kill but drops Godly items

Example: Jr yetis... they drop 60% attk scroll (EASY MONEY!)
I found evil wingz l form were wolves ...lost 10k in pots....(found in 15mins.. i know peopel that lost 10 mil in pots still havent found...)Gained 90+mil


Be Friendly!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is 2nd or most important! I never defame people unless they defame me, annoy me for mroe than 20 mins.....or say a racist joke...


Befriend as many people as you can...You never know what you get back...(Random69.... you know what im talking about..)

Loot!

pick up every thing !!!! you are nevr too"pro" to pick up stuff... And if a "pro" doest pick up ask him if you can loot and if he agrees pick up every thing...(Cant wait till pets come out...)(pet came out) updated... those little servents help alot! in time /training...


Equipment.....

During low levels you should skip equipment inorder to save but during high levls it is not worth seving a few millions in order to save those mills

WHY? because you will waste that amount on pots...

for Ex: i Just bought a int cap for 5 mil... when kill white pangs i usely take 3 shots with the cape i have 2shots....

imagine killing 2 million pangs to lvl ... and let say it take 3 more lvl to take the same effects as my cape... it would take 3 lvl of 3 shot which would add up jsut buying the cape... lvling faster and more efficently thus using less pots... and saving money and gainig mesos


Marketing:

Well i guess you can put this as buy and sell low but this puts a new meaning to buying and selling.becuase the main trading used to be in perion where not everyone can reach but now the whole 3 island are connected with the simple portal in town which allows you to teleport to a main trading area.

This may take some time to learn all the prices and the ups and down of the market.

1st rule learn the prices of every thing from scolls to equips...( this will take long days in the market talking/asking about prices... wook my friend about 1 week constanly in the market learn every thing...(time consuming .. i know)

2nd rule Remember TAX!!!!!! many people got into this mistake ...(personally i
think that the tax system suks for sellers but works wonders for buyers.... because the tax system many equipment price went down by HALF!)Remember that if u see a ilbi sellnig for 14.5 mil and u say wow i can sell it for 15 mil! NONONO! tax tax tax.... it will actaully cost you money buying it at 14.5 mil and selling it for 15 mil....


3rd rule Have A SHOP!!!!!!! this is very important... but i guess you can live with out a shop but u'll be tired typing "SELLING ORES" all day... much more convient to have s hop... make sure be ready to leap for a spot... get ready buy minimizing maplestory and copying waht you want to write.. then pasteding it as the title.... be free to leave your computer on all night... disable all chats so it will be less chance that u will disconnect...

guess thats all for market XD



Conclusion...

Pick up every mesos etc you find... 10 mesos is better than nothing(make that you slogan) :)

its funny how people complain about being poor but then don't make an effort to raise their mesos by looting

yea lots of people waste their mesos on stupid stuff like korean fans when they are a mage or something lol

lol...sometimes it's out of stupidity, and other times...its becuase they "want to look rich" XD

oh, and BTW, if someone drops something, and you get it...if they ask for it back, say no...because it was their fault for dropping it, and showing off =P

That's good. Sometimes I pick up money too fast that I miss like 3/10 of it and just keep training, ignoring it until I get back to it.

well actually TehMaster, not to offend u or anything but this is kinda basic knowledge u learn after deleting ur first character;) , but I think u kinda copied this and just changed into ur own words through other guides like on MapleTip or Hidden Street

This whole thread can be summarized by

Tax reduces inflation in the game, thus taking more money out of the game and reducing prices.

They only made taxes so people would use the market, and buy store permits. Since store permants is 50% off taxes. Wizet is smart.

this guide helped a bunch. thanks tehmaster :] but i don't really understand the tax. so when u buy something from someone for 5 mil, it automatically takes an extra amount out of your mesos?

No. If you bid 5 million mesos, you will ONLY lose 5 million.
However, the seller will noly recieve about 4.5 mil.

no it takes the tax off the seller like..,... he doesnt recieve 5 mil .. but u still pay 5 mil

when im bored i go on my mule and go into the freemarket entrance in all channels asking the high lvl people for things they dont want, i got 1 mil in a week just from that (cash) and panlid, red starlight, some other gear, maple impaler, and lots more

If u go to that one place outside of hensys and party with a guy and say i just want the money and shells u might get something i did that and i made a new friend and 12k (which is alot for me ><) and about this guide once i get more money i'll start marketing great guide
