Is there any f2p mmos similar to animal crossing's and/or the sims' gameplay?

thanks for your guy's replies. Yes, I found ea land along time ago and was excited to play it until--i found out it was clsoed down. I tried second life, wasn't as interesting as i thought. Probably coz i lagged so much. Oh well, I guess I'll keep looking.
