EDIT: the game looks like a mock-up, you seem to have saved the windows that you made in paint as jpegs making the quality low.

the graphics aren't THAT bad. You need to improve the graphics since those are the one people judge a game on. Gameplay ( nowadays) is almost the same.

Well you really need to upgrade the graphics, i know how hard it is to make a game out of scratch, i just completed making a tetris game and a checkers game, so good luck with that.

you are a moron. i was not insulting him for no reason, i am telling him that his GFX are horrid and that he should hire someone to do it for him because that does not meet the lowest form of quality standards.

he is making a 2D game and thus should pixel the enviroment pixel per pixel, not just using a paint brush and putting in a few colours. he saved the tileset as a .jpeg hence lowering the quality of the art itself. it seems he is using MS paint... that is a bad choice for any pixel artist. he should get garphics gale or just simply use paint.NET. (if you use paint.NET you can save it as a jpeg to lower its file size but keep the quality fine.) this indeed is a flaw and he needs to know not to do it.

Going to have to agree that the graphics need some help, If you advertise around some pixel art forums you might get a semi-talented/talented artist to work with you for free/free until you can make profits (in whichever way you would be planning to do so, if you ever did..)
