Hello All,

Well, Ive finally decided that this forum deserves a good old SIG BATTLE! Considering we have alot of great talents in our community.... So without further adue here are the conditions.

1-Sigs must NOT be bigger than 400*350
2-The subject is abstract renderless sigs. So stick to it.
3-You can only use photoshop defaults and brushes. No renders.
4-You must describe your sig and its meaning, and the choice of colours (optional).
5-Entries shall end on wednesday, then the voting shall start in a separate post.
6-Have fun, Good luck.

Im not sure if i am entering im going on holiday in about a week. Good luck, Forward congrats to the winner.

well.. i dont remember if i used a render or not but the one with like a half lookin face is my best done.

No C4Ds, Defaults+brushing only. Renderless no need for it to be abstract.

Edit: Also, don't you need to describe your own signature Availer? Considering signatures artistic kind of makes me giggle though.

Hmm.. I never tried abstract renderless sigs, but I guess there's a first time for everything. I might enter.

But I'm still foggy about the rules...

So, we can ONLY use DEFAULTs (which are what?) and BRUSHES (default as well?) No renders...

So yeah, what are defaults and do the brushes have to be default?

Defaults are the distortions etc. its using the program basicly without c4d or downloaded brushes or renders. There? And ill do a description later lol.

Think of the first second you had Photoshop. Before all of those downloaded brushes, C4d renders, etc. It pretty much means you can't use anything you got off the Internet, except fonts. Only the brushes that came with Photoshop, and the available filters.

Makes it more difficult but naw. Filter abstracts are pretty easy to make. Shouldn't be too hard. I wanna see what Cloud13 makes. I remember the days of "OMFG CLOUD13 YOU PWN!!!!". Before most of yours times.

Boy, this is really hard...

I've never used a tut (besides for border) so I don't know how to make funky stuff from scratch and play around with the layer settings and stuff like that or make really funky realistic clouds and stuff

Ah well, this is the perfect oppertunity to go discover stuff about photoshop by myself~

I can only make sigs through tutorials so far i'm still learning the ropes and wat every thing looks like and wat it does but i cant work that dang magic wand! anyone that can teach me how hmm i might try to enter with my own but dont expect much

It's my first shot at making an abstract sig, so don't take it to hard on me.

I made it very bright and light colored becasue all the other entries were really dark. The colors are red, orange, white, and pink. Hmm the meaning of it is well it's Summer (despite having Fall leaves) and I wanted mine to be bright, colorful, and I guess you could say girly. Plus I think it's rather unique lol. Anyway best wishes to whoever wins.

I like Ravon's the best. (Not that it wasn't expected) Gives this weird spacey mellow feeling that I like.

When I tried saving it on Photoshop it messes all the colours around so I have to take a screenshot and save it in MSPAINT... :(

Aight, here I go.

Meaning: The sig has no particular meaning, which is why it has the "Nothing," but because I have been forgotten as a sig maker, it means everything to getting recognized again if I win or whatnot.

Color: Just a sort of blend of my favorite colors.

What Saint meant, is that you grabbed a pic, and added filters to it.

Colors: Spectral colors, colors from the rainbow. They bring happines and joy at glance.

Meaning: I was going for an aurora type of thing approach, and that was what came out. Auroras are rare, and are a beautiful sight. That was what I wanted with my sig.

Its ok no need to change it. But if you used a render and filtered it then you need to take it off. But, either than that its ok. Dudes pin this. TLM this wasnt made after the GFX forum was made. Thanks.
