me....haz a problemz!!!
Anyways, I'm trying to create an AMV, however, all the anime downloading sites I found have their files in RMVB, and, I am trying to use Windows MOvie Maker to make the AMV. It only supports asf or AVI.
So,
1. Is there any anime download site that has their download in AVI or asf format
2.Is there any RMVB > Avi converter that isn't too complicated. I want my AMV's in AVI since I heard it's the highest quality.

Please do the world a favour, you are not creative, you are not inspired and there are 1000x times enough windows-movie-maker AMVs of all flavours and sorts already and they never got better since they lost all their nouveau flair 6 month after XP came out.
JUST STEP BACK AND GIVE UP.
For the Sake of Humanity and Linkin Park (,or any other generic shit you dug up) don't do it...
More serious, just in case this is really really important to you and you already have a couple of sketches and concepts and timelines arranged and don't want to waste that (not that I haven't been totally serious above): Converting will make your vids look shit even on youtube...
Either rent, buy or download actual DVDs and create a lossless rip.
Too much work? Read above.

Um, no, if you're here to flame, please, leave. I asked for a solution and you tell me to give up on the first post? Ignored. Your attempt at getting a huger e peen is phail. I know WMM isn't the hottest shit on the planet, but, it gets the job done, plus it has some basic transitions and effects that are good enough for me.

WMM
In about 5 to 10 days, you'll look back and say, man, I just should have listened; besides, if you are seriously trying to make something that isn't absolutely medicre if you compare it to the works of an 8 year old, the info you need is there...
WMV is not that bad at all, it just cant make a gem out of some downloaded crap rips.
Btw, cared to read the rules? <.<

Exactly why I'm asking onrpg, and not you.

there are converters out there....if you really want to get one just search for it on a torrent website....
...for me I don't make amvs I can actually produce my own anime if I wanted to draw thousands of frames which I have done before.......
