Hi Everyone,

Since I started Onrpg over 5 years ago we have grown from a small site on a free server to the success story that we are in 2008. Thanks to all of our great staff and our very dedicated members, Onrpg is what it is today.

However the competition is fierce and I felt that the site needed the support of a company such as Spill Group to help Onrpg continue to grow, develop further features and where I could get some help, back-up and expertise. Having met the owners of Spill Group I really felt that we shared the same objectives and future vision for Onrpg and more than anything we just clicked.

In spite some of the rumors and chat, let me guarantee that for the foreseeable future I am going nowhere. This is my baby and I want to continue to care for it, help it grow and now with a great team of programmers, technicians and marketers, further expand the site and add tons of cool features that would have been really hard to do on our own.

If any of you have any questions please let me know. Just post below and I’ll be happy to answer what I can.

Im actually in my 20s and I started when I was 19 so you guys can do the math :)

I can guarantee you guys that there will be no annoying popups, over my dead body!

And the reason why I don't post as much on the forums as I should is because I always spend way too much time in the background making sure the site keeps running for you guys. I work on programming new features for the site, making sure our servers get paid every month, work on contests, make sure that all of the staff's requests are completed, look for new mods, all the legal and accounting, keep the main site's content updated, talk to game companies every day and the list goes on and on.

In fact, after I finished university I had quit the job I got right after because I didn't have enough time to run Onrpg! So I actually got an office and hired a programmer a little while back.

Most of the Onrpg staff knows all this stuff, but its good to share it with you guys :)

As Gabriel has more or less said, nothing will change negatively that would affect the community. 99.999999% of changes are backend stuff that you guys have no clue about anyways. Hell, 90% of the backend stuff doesn't even affect me and I am staff.

Just know that this will benefit the site as a whole and that things will continue to improve.

Yes OnRPG has been growing very rapidly in the last 2-3 years. We get a huge amount of visitors to both the website and forums.
Everyone should be happy, nothing will change except for positive things, we will get more members and hopefully the staff will be able to do more. But FYI you all might need to improve your attitudes ;).

Yeah, there will be some new additions in the months to come that I think you guys will really like. I will let you guys know as they are finalized. For now we are working on a new forum design. It will be coming soon!

I'd just like to say congratulations Gabe for establishing a successful gaming resource and community for us all. Its no small feat by any means. Keep up the fantastic work you are doing here and I look forward to any new features and additions you bring us.
