Was waiting in line for 5 hours xD. My friend and I were 7th and 8th place.
The game is so damn awsome. Its genious. And i might add the begining of the game is particularly interesting xD. The grahpics of the first clip are so intense you might actaully think it is real video. i still do. The controls are great. I must just add as an important notce that you SHOULD help the militas. and give them your rations(take it out and press triangle) it really helps. And when you go into the tunnel b4 you meet Drebin you shud LOOK AROUND carfully. There are some really imporant items xD like cardboard box, playboy mag lol and some other stuff. The proper begining is truely amazing, it feels like im watching a hollywood block buster xD. The music makes you feel the surreal atmosphere that surrounds the battlefield. THE IPOD IS SOOOOO DAMN COOL. Its really innovative for a video game. PS, give the militas a ration, they give you an IPOD music (after you won the battle with PMC). You ue the right thumbstick like your finger and press to click on the option. I chose, Sold Normal i think for difficualty. Takes a while for me to get uesd to it.

And sry i dident post this earlier, went to bed after i got the game(tired). And had school today. Was waiting to play!!

I know you're excited for the game and all and want to let everyone know that you got it, but people like to find stuff out for themselves. I suggest editing your post and taking out the parts that say 'you should __________'.

Confronting an enemy face on can be tedious....

To actually perform a grapple can be very annoying as you panic when an enemy spots you but to grapple you need to stand still by the enemy and then press the button.. you can't just run over whilst moving and press it.

That happens on every mgs though..


Seriously.. the game is fantastic... i went on the download page before anything and they already had a suit to download! some red one... crap really..

I don't really like the ipod but it's a cool feature...


When you are aiming at a soldier and the people you are fighting with are there... they can sometimes get in the way and if you hit them alot then they turn on you so not only do you ahve the enemies fighting you.. you have the other enemies turning on you aswell..


I can't complaina bout anything else sorry.

Alright, what systems are the MGS Games out for.

well you can play MGS1 2 3 all on ps2

metal gear is like snes nes etc

but really you should play metal gear solid 3 canonicly from the solid series
then 1 then 2

Metal Gear (the original) came out for the NES, a sequel was produced for the NES called Metal Gear 2 (obvious, right?). These games have no bearing on the Solid storyline.

Metal Gear Solid 1 came out for the PS1 and was a nice game. MGS 2 and 3 both came out for the PS2 called Sons of Liberty and Snake Eater respectively.

vesper they do have relevence to the story line play em n the whole metal gear franchise will make more sense
