it clciked on the english client link...Its nearly 2am here so i need to check in for the night. My IGN will be Alivada but i change characters all the time in closed beta as i like trying all the classes.
EDIT:my install is also french, a blessing really as if whole game was french i could get through it.

The link that it sends me to, it is not exactly used for a log-in, and instead registers you for the Open Beta, on the left side. That's what it looks like it's for anyway. But yeah, I just can't figure it out. I haven't seen anyone else post about the problem on the official forums, so I guess I'm just simply screwed either way, hah.

DOnt mind that, When you begin to play make sure you click EN on the top of the left hand corner during the log in screen.

The server reboots 3:00-4:00 AM GMT every week day, so it won't reboot any time this weekend.

There will be a new patch on monday, from what I heard, that will fix all the problems.

So I suggest not playing until monday.

Hey it seems they ran out of CB keys considering that when you register for the closed beta givaway, it says: your CB key is ____. Just a blank. = /

Wow, still not enough keys? I see them on MMOsite, MMORPG, here on ONRPG, and some other big gaming sites too!

I got the key (two actually, from MMORPG emailing me but deleted it), although I sometimes wish I didn't... The game still has an opportunity (in my opinion) to be a good game, but man... I really think you can only fight like what, 20 monsters in game? Also I'm sick and tired of being bugged in combat and having to re-log, and being sent back to where I started in the beginning of the game. I still enjoy the gameplay though, despite the community and hunting for trees etc. just to boost one of your gathering professions.

Sorry if I sound ignorant of what else is in game, this is a first 5 hours reflection before I gave up for awhile, and desperately waiting for the black screen AND blank screen bug to be resolved.

Wakfu is still a good game, not giving on it yet. (although it sounds like I do) /offtopic
