I don't remember the exact name, but I think it's called Suggestive Reasoning. I remember seeing a special about it on the Discovery Channel. For example, you look at a painting once and see a duck holding a peanut. Then someone tells you it looks like a man painting his house, and you begin to see the man painting his house. It's even worse when you don't hear/see it without someone suggesting that it's something else, like in this video.

In other words, there's a chance we're only hearing this because we've read the text and WANT to hear it.

Hotel California wasn't a place where they held sacrifices. It was about a haunted Hotel where you'd be offed by the creepy staff and such. Thus "You can check out any time you like, but you can never leave"...

I love that song. :)

Edit: Upon review of the song, I've found some more stuff...

"Some dance to remember, some dance to forget", the ghosts, dancing to remember or forget their past lives.

They stab it with their steely knives, But they just can't kill the beast", ghosts can't eat physical food.

And the last part:

"Last thing I remember, I was
Running for the door
I had to find the passage back
To the place I was before
'Relax,' said the night man,
'We are programmed to receive.
You can check-out any time you like,
But you can never leave!' "

I think that one is kinda obvious.

FUCK I LOVE THIS SONG! LOL!

Dude, if you listen to weird al's song it's going to say "Satan eats cheese whiz"
Britney spears = Kiss me I'm not too young,
Yoko ono = I killed john lennon
Pokemon = SATAN, SATAN, SATAN YEAH! SATAN, SATAN YEAH!

There are tons more, and actually, when these became popular, I tried it out on my own.
My friend and I said a bunch of random shit like "cat-food toes nutts and balls"
and usuallly one out of every sentence seemed to say something.
But thats only because we were EXPECTING something weird, and thus.

Yeh, it's kinda like what Jester said, Suggestive - Reasoning? -
Your mind makes you think thats what theyre saying because you already read it, and you're expecting that stupid shit.

But as soon as you see lil Wayne's pic, i heard
"I'm outa this joint, Yoooo nooo yoooo noooo, Brinngg no mo' feta cheese, Nights dark
Yo lips ah saggeh,
Pull em to the floor"

I'm not shitting balls.
Tis what I heard.
