I'm just wondering which one do you guys prefer.

If you haven't played either of them, don't post.

For the people who think one of them is better, do you have any specific reasons why?

Also, if both of them fail, what other FPS games do you recommend?

Combat Arms, just because I'm bored of WarRock.

Combat Arms, just because I'm bored of WarRock.

Is there really much of a difference though?

I mean, the gameplay and movement is the same (with all FPS anyway) and the guns for the most part are the same.
Warrock has advantages of being able to use mobiles and planes, but for some reason I've seen people starting to like Combat Arms more.

I'm playing Combat Arms now.

Some advice:

Go to the shop, buy a better gun and grenades and clothes for one day.
Play and own the noobs in that one day...
After ranking up twice, its all skill.

Yeah I've been playing for a while now, so I'm at the level after Recruit.

I prefer Warrock myself. The map is bigger and you get to use planes, tanks, and boats. But in Combat Arm, the map is smaller so there is much more action going on hence you can find enemies fast to shoot at.

I'm just waiting for a game where its like Warrock but not room base. Thousands of players in one big world just like a real war. Then maybe some special events where you can participate in d-day. Use real life war strategy like blitzkrieg and guerrilla warfare to win the war. Now that is fun. But a game like this needs superior cooperation. Too bad its just my wishful thinking that won't come true.

I definetly recommend Combat Arms, it feels more polished, and with the new version including CTF its gotten much better.

Yeah, the planes and tanks were kickass. But the problem with Warrock when I played was that I encountered too many hackers, and I find that paying members get most of the benefits.

Thousands of players in one big world in an FPS...sounds kinda strange. Blitzkrieg lol <_<

As for everyone else, thanks for the feedback. I guess I'll stick with Combat Arms for now. But since it's on Open beta, a lot more maps/features are being added so it'll grow eventually.

You're thinking WWII Online (http://www.wwiionline.com/scripts/wwiionline/index.jsp). RPG Elements, I believe. And I don't think it's room based.

@Topic, CA should be getting vehicles soon, too. The trailer hints at it, so I guess I'll stake my claims on it.

I like Combat Arms' gameplay, I also find it more fun, it's one of those where you cant hide when you snipe, had its advantages and disadvantages.

Now Warrock, i only love this game cause
1. You can lie on your stomach so its harder to kill you.
2. The motorcycle!

But out of the two, i would say Combat Arms cause its a game where you won't get bored. Warrock is to slow for me.

Does it really matter what people find which game is better?

I like Combat Arms better. I can't explain why. I just find it more fun and fast paced.

WarRock went so far downhill after it went retail that it isn't even funny.

Combat Arms wins by default.

That's probably why you like it more most.

People play combat arms because its new and has decent gameplay. No game lasts forever and people will eventually get bored with the game, the same happend with cod4.

Both games are good, but too many hacker/glitchers/lag in warrock, very few in CA. Just dont play too much or youll spoil the game, as I did with COD4.

Well CA is newer so more fun atm, but the skill is just so low xD so i quited. I may sound arrogant, but the clanwar skill is just too low atm.

I had more fun with warrock, because esl rules ^^. Higher level of skill, more prices too win atm xD.

But CA is okay, only its a little too flashy for me. Give me old skool fps! CS

HOW COULD YOU POSSIBLY BE BORED OF COD4. They just released new maps and it is far and away the best FPS around. To the OP id go bite the bullet and pay a little bit for COD4. IT is 100x better than both games mentioned

Yeah just pay up and get CoD4 if you would rather play a good game.

Combat arms felt very plastic and retarded to me, took zero skill to use a sniper rifle when I played, and there was like 3 op guns everyone whored and all other guns just sucked.

Warrock, despite its hackers and laggers has better gameplay as far as I'm concerned, sniping takes a lot more skill as well.

But If you can get CoD4 you probably should play that instead, my friend swears by it like a religion.

I was exactly the same about cod 4 as you, it caught my attention for so long, almost as long as the original half-life + mods. After getting most of the weapons and achievments, you realize there is nothing to work towards, other than your k/d rating.

The real reason why I stopped is because I'm waiting on a new video card and and tired of playing the game at around 30 fps. Well at least on my computer, the game looks better than the console version, the game on the consoles run at 1024x600 (600p).

Combat Arms. Definitely. (I played WarRock a while back, and man.. I hated the game. Granted, it was fun to run people over--very fun--but hell, other than that, it's not that great.)

Combat Arms is pretty fun, for an FPS. I mean, the game has some moments that are just... epic. (For me, anyway. I mean, turning around a CTF match when your team is 3 points behind in the last minute is just...)

(While I'm aware that this is off-topic, I recommend Battlefield: Bad Company, if you want a kickass game. I mean, purposefully missing someone, just to make a tree fall on their head, IS PRICELESS.) :D

I have never ever played Combat Arms in my life, therefor I could not tell you.
However, I have played WarRock in the past, I stopped about... well, maybe 2-4months ago? WarRock is a very fun game, always keeps you wanting to play(one reason why I stopped, addicting) however, server lag is horrible on WarRock at times, and when there are hackers, just leave the room. But I'd give WarRock a 4/5 stars, just because it was probably the funnest MMOFPS game I've ever played, besides Counter Strike: Source, that was awesome! :D
--Good luck with whatever you picked, have fun, and hoped this helped, at least a bit.

Well I never really payed attention to the achievements i just play the game and enjoy it. I only play hardcore now I don't know how people can play non-hc it's just so lame putting half a clip into someone and they're still standing. The only time i play normal mode is with search and destroy.

Combat Arms is by far the better game.

#1 Gameplay is far superior in Combat Arms. The guns are more realistic as well as the overall feel of the game. Not many exploits at all, very fun action. Sniping is possible in this game because the maps are well thought out by the developers, a little for every kind of FPS player.

Graphics are better in Combat arms as well. Its just a better game overall.

IMPORTANT!!!! --- Combat Arms does not let you buy anything with cash shop that will give you an advantage of any kind. You can only buy items to customize your look. This is great!!!

Did they even "fix" sniper rifles? Without bullet lag or drop Its far from realistic.. Just point and click like a moron.
