well i dont own it cuz i dont like gay games where u and the enemy take turns hitting eachother cuz those games r gay thats y final fantasy needs to have its final fantasy anyones now onto the topic

i have xbox live and a 360 i have friends with FF11 and most of em (all but 3 out of about 64) complain about u already pay about $50 a year for a years worth of xbl so y have to pay an extra $12 (i think maybe $15) just to play a gay game online? well thats the waste even if u like FF games and u have a 360 and xbox live dont get it for 1 thing its a waste for another thing pc gets extra stuff just like oblivion pc get 1vs1 in arena 360 get player vs computer

Everyone has different tastes, and it's more than just hitting enemies, theres crafting, fishing, farming (gil), chocobo raising ect ect

Lets see can we all agree on the fact that this is REALLY biased just from the first sentence and realize that this guys is just an idiot. And oblivion is generally the same thing only first person and has a different setting to it. (apparently he hasnt figured that out...) Also the PC version doesnt get anything extra in fact it's ussually the opposite as Microsoft tends to give people with xbl extra stuff. (example would be Call of Duty 2. PC got two maps in 3 patches while 360 got 3 map packs with 3-5 maps each in the same amount of time.) Short way of putting this: Your retarded.:D

well I hate to tell you mate but you dont need to pay for the xbox live subscription that FFXI needs. You do not need to have xbox live gold(which you pay for) all you need is xboxlive silver(which is free) so dont come and complain when you obviously dont know the facts right. Also FFXI isnt i hit,they hit,you hit,they hit either so dont talk rubbish.

There are many things wrong with that review. First of all, it's really hard to understand. It shows your age by your grammer and usage of abreviations. Calling it "gay" isn't right either. You have your own oppionions but try to leave unnecessary adjectives aside. You do not need a Xbox Live Gold account either, a silver will do just fine.

if you dont like it, dont play it. simple.if you dont like paying $12.99 on top of your xbox360 price, dont buy it, i really do not see the point of this post, your just saying that this game is "gay". . . . some people acually like the turn-based system, theirs nothing wrong with this game, dont flame the game until you played it.

The game doesn't have an "I hit, you hit" battle system, if you have a fast enough weapon, or if you Dual Weild, you can go "I hit, I hit, you hit, I hit, I hit", and there's more to the game than leveling. There's crafting, skilling up, farming, chocobo breeding, chocobo racing....

Isn't X-box live silver membership free? it seys you can use a silver membership to play final fantasy online.

umm.... thanks for wasting my time. Ok wow just because something is not your cup of tea, and you don't like it while other people do don't have to call it "gay" there are so many other words that sound so much better and that don't amke you sound like a 12 year old. Also I don't think the game likes to date other men or anything of the sort so it's not "gay". You can express your opinion and what not,but ACTUALLY PLAY THE GAME. you can't say it sucks until you play it. It's like me saying gears of war, halo 2, or any other game sucks because all you do is shoot people and thats "gay" because thats all I see from other people playing it and on the net. FFXI does have it's flaws but it's a deep fun mmorpg, plus it's not turn based, depending on how much delay your weapon has effects how many time you attack. Also you can get xbox live silver which is FREE so you don't have to pay the 50 bucks a year to play. But I think the 360 version is lame compared to the pc one personally because I have played it and find the pc version much more enjoyable. So please if you want to flame a game play it yourself and get your info right, if you don't then your opinion is worth crap.

Well,I don't think so.I plan to get FF XI for thr 360,the graphics are probably nicer than the PS2's,it comes whit the 3 expensions in from what I heard,and it's about 30 bucks here.Good deal,imo.
