Seen any?

Currently watching/listening to Pocket Full of Rocks live, a Christian Rock band at church, and its free. They are playing 3 days, Monday - Wednesday. And tomorrow(Wednesday) we are going to local water park to mess around and after that, they are doing an actual full concert, they usually only play 4-5 songs and then we listen to preacher preach and lead worship. So should be fun tomorrow.

I actually talked to the band and went to a coffee shop with a group of people and listened to em talk about what they do.

Several years ago some friends and I got As Cities Burn to play at our church. In exchange we fed and gave them "shelter" lol.

Best concert I've gone to was Motion City Soundtrack. I knew all the words, and the crowd was really rowdy. Plus, it was the first time I crowd surfed. Awesome time.

Next best was Gogol Bordello. That was a little disappointed, but it was still an awesome show.

Ok fuck you bro. I wanted to see Motion City so bad but they weren't on my Warped date.

The best bands I've seen live lately were probably The Dillinger Escape Plan, Say Anything, and Pierce The Veil. All at Warped Tour. DEP played a cover of Hot For Teacher that was awesome and PTV played their Beat It cover and that was great except for the fact that the solo was super weak compared to the original, but you can't expect everyone to be able to solo like Eddie Van Halen.

Damn, RX Bandits would be insane fun.

I'm so pissed, Tool and Rage Against The Machine played at the same fucking tour, Big Day Out, last year. I was so pissed that I couldn't get a ticket, sold out in like 15 minutes.

Dillinger are sick live.

They're like the little kid who thinks "If I pedal more aggressively and make engine noises, my bike will go faster.", but with instruments.

Radiohead? that would be dream come true for me.

It was my eight or so time seeing them.

I can't count the concerts/festivals I've been to. I've seen way too many bands to remember them all. XD

The most memorable, by far, were Modern Life Is War (broken up now, due to the guitarist getting married T_T) and MXPX. I saw MLIW like 4 times I think, but MXPX only once. Those two are tied for first.

Then tied for second are The Bouncing Souls (when I saw them in 06) and The Unseen (07)...

I was going to go to this concert called "Moedown" this summer, but I couldn't afford the tickets. Its not a rock concert, more jam bands and stuff, so that'd be a whole different category anyway. :) (OMFG WHAT HAPPENED TO THE SMILE FACE!?)

The bests i've seen was Steve Vai (hell the tickets were super expensive, but it was worth it), Ben Harper (this was a serie of concerts that lasted a few days, there were some great bands there too), and theres this underground thrash metal kinda band called Revolution Within that just pwns, but i havent seen them in a while...

The Absolute BEST show I have been too was cochella music festival back in April. M.I.A, Hot Chip, Santagold, SebastiAn, Yelle, Misnus the Bear, Uffie, and a shit ton more awesome bands over the course of three awesome days. Fucking Heaven.

I'm going again next year.

I think the bestone was Unholy Alliance 2006. Featuring Thine eyes bleed, Lamb of God, In Flames and Slayer. It was wicked! :)

How does he do it? (doesnt brendon play basicly everything? xD)
I mean, does he have guest musicians playing there, showing in a big screen the characters playing, or...

Yeah, the band is actually him and a bunch of other guys. Gene Hoglan on drums, Mike Keneally on guitar and Bryan Beller on bass, and he does the lead guitar and sings/growls.
In the background there's a screen and it shows clips of the band playing, or it will show the music video.

In between songs Brendon sorta talks to himself in a bunch of different voices/characters and it's really funny, you see them all interact on the screen.
It's really cool.

im working in an instrument shop, and we sponcer alot of local bands/shows, i have to go to shows almost daily to bring amps and soundboards were lending them, put up publicity, and shit. this also means i have to sit through terrible hardcore & emo bullshit weekly. from time to time i'll get lucky and fall on an average melo death band, or some decent black.
aside from that, i go to local shows atleast once a week, unless i am unable to for w/e reasons, and about 10 or so big shows a year. would go to more, but money is an issue.

Cedric can't sing live though :-/

I've never actually seen radiohead live but from what I've seen and heard on the interweb they sound pretty much just as good as they do on records if not better.

I think Coheed & Cambria are much better live than they are on cd too.

I don't enjoy The Mars Volta live, personally.

It's nothing to do with the quality of the music, I just don't enjoy watching them jam for three hours. That's their gig, it's what they do, and that's fine by me. I'm just not gonna rush to see them again.
