Anyone got tips for healers?

    Default Anyone got tips for healers?

    Level 30 about to skill reset.
    Some questions:

    1. Should I get Elemental Protection?
    2. Should I bother with the self heals? I mean I don't think I'll get hit much but no sure and I could always pot.
    3. Should I keep mind square at 5/10 or just go 10/10?
    4. Any other information you could provide would be helpful.

    2. if you dont think you'll need them you dont have to get it.

    Oh lame the self heals are a req for team heals...
    Do you think I should get the cure poison\disease\curse?
    Dang, Elemental Protection only targets you, arrgh.

    IMO, its not worth it being a healer at lvl 30 really since there isnt exactly a requirement for healer at that level. And plus, you dont have enough skill points to be an efficient healer.

    I think mind square is a worthless skill because it requires you to sit down and heal which kind of defeats the purpose of a healer. Healer keeps healing the team so that they dont have to stop and rest.

    When i convert to healer, im thinking of also getting the earth shield spell on the earth skill tree since it is a very nice skill and a nice buff.

    It's a 20 points req to get it though..ouch.
    Do you know if magic stat helps healing any?

    If you decide to be a healer, chances are you'll be going bard, which means you're pretty much stuck with water/support.

    Well, I have yet to see anywhere that says i need to have water to have the water support skill. I guess the final tier of water mastery would help, but overall, the water skill tree is pretty bad. I think i will either try Earth/Support or Wind/support. I did my calculation and i will have the necessary healing skills at lvl 40 plus maxed attack skills for wind plus some points in windwalk which is very useful compare to the really crappy ice shield.

    Just get max party healing and work on wind skills so you can actually solo.. then be useful in dungeon parties.

    That's basically it.
    You'll get full skill reset when become bard because its a different weapon so whatever you do before level 80 doesn't really matter.
