    Default Pet trouble, any advice?

NOTE: Not sure if this counts as a blog post, which is either against the rules or not suggested (looks that up), as I'm asking for advice on a situation, but if it does seem to count, I'll understand if it gets deleted and all that.

    Okay, here's thing you guys.
You people tend to have good common sense when it comes to issues and all that, so I thought I'd ask you guys for some advice.

I left my pets to my mother after I moved into an apartment that doesn't allow animals.
I've been visiting ma a lot, and recently realized she is NOT taking good care of my pets.
She doesn't have a job so she can afford to take the to the vet, and the rare times when she does have money, she doesn't WANT to take them to the vet, and they are getting sick.
Now, I'm a part timer on SSI with mental issues.
I can't afford to take care of them, and I want them to be healthy and happy.
I'm considering giving them up to better homes, but my mother is in complete denial that they're in danger and refuses to give them up!

In summary if you don't want to read all that, mom neglecting pets, I can't take them in or pay for vet visits cuz I'm a part timer on SSI, and she refuses to give them up to better homes.
    What would you do?

Ugh. I've been in a situation like that with one of my pets before. The only thing you can really do is have a talk with her and hope she understands, if not then you'll have to take them away and do what's best for them. >_<

There's not too many options, sorry. T_T
