Default Help Me Decide On a Laptop

    First choice:
    HP Pavilion dm3-1030us
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16834157044

    Second choice:
    Acer Aspire Timeline AS3810T

I know the HP has a better graphics card, which is pretty much autowin if you ask on a gaming forum. But assuming that gaming is not a factor for this laptop, how does the rest of it stack up (mainly interested in the difference between the processors, if you've had any experience with AMD Athlon Neos/Core 2 Duo SU7300 1.3G)

I believe the 2nd one is better in everything except raw CPU clock.

I'd personally go with the Acer, even if the processing speed isn't as great as the HP. In my experiences, Acer computers have always been great computers.

But you won't screw yourself over either way.

    ^^^

Too big. Wanted something in the 13.3" or under.

Ended up getting the HP, but I customized it on the HP website with a Core 2 Duo processor and a dedicated graphics card Now I can play most games at low-med settings hehe.
