Upgrade or trash?

so i have 2006 Dell windows XP service package2....i have nivdia si or psi or w/e highest vid card made for my model comp...now what can i do/get/install to make my comp perform better...i can play most games (w/ small to mild lag) and of course i can do nothing about ram cuz my mother board has nomore in put stick slot things......

so what is out there i can download/install kinda like i did my service package 2 that would help me out?

If it's a dell you'd better get yourself a new one,
they usually lock everything you can do in the bios.

I doubt that they support AM2+ / AM3 / Intel processors, etc etc.
