    While I'm sure we've all got our opinions on the model designs, you have to give a resounding WTF after watching the making of video. I sincerely hope Riot has a legitimate plan for monetizing on their movie studio as it seems like the craziest expansion of services since Red 5 Studios tried to make a Youtube television channel.

    Hmm the fight was enjoyable, but kat, leo, zyra, and ahri all felt off.

    Really like Naut and Draven in it though.

    As far as them doing something with their video team...it could work, possibly due to brand recognition alone. Time will tell though.
    Do wish they'd put the extra money to making the game less buggy(new/restructured client please), finish their damn replay system, and start thoroughly testing things better before live release.

    Wait... they still haven't finished the replay system?

    Haven't been keeping up as often lately but assumed that would at least be in open testing by now.

    Idk, I watched a couple matches of dota2 and didn't really find it that interesting (even with the newbie stream I can't really tell wat's going on)

    But lately the meta for LoL is really boring to watch, that is personally why I'm really playing alot less now too. Watching every game become a lategame turtlefest with 10 Banshee's and no team being able to engage is really boring.

    That movie was awesome, but Ahri looks like absolute garbage. It looks like they tried/failed to go for some Disney Pixar, Frozen look with her.

    And why does Katarina always get to be in these?

    At least the LoL balance team is trying to ease assassins back into viability (but they're really being cautious with the buffs). Mikaels and the support buffs really pushed alot of assassins and characters with CC ult out of viability~

    Edit: Also Rivington spouts so much nonsense it's really annoying to listen to him cast... listening to TSM vs CLG picks/bans now and am already annoyed~~

    Ahri doesn't really look like herself. Blue eyes, different clothes, etc. But I don't mind, really, it's good she at least gets to be in one of the movies.

    And I also think Katarina is overused. Sick of seeing her~

    Ti4 = one time thing.
    LCS = nearly every day for what, 15 weeks+ at a time? Worlds for League will easily get 500k+ viewers on Twitch alone.
    That's like comparing the World Cup to a Bills vs. Texans match.

    They just need to be careful with assassins, especially Evelyn and Kassidin.
    Kass can've to hard to shut down, eve simply forces the weren't team to keep pinks up which then forces the team she faces to have to play differently than they would vs anyone else which is annoying as hell.

    they also hold their world cup every year with and another allstars match and their production quality is better

    i love dota but since i've been following the two scenes i appreciate them both

    though i have a feeling league of legends is making more revenue than valve is with dota

    He looks really cute~~

    However I'm not happy about the kit. Seems a tad overloaded. Mini-gnar basically has every active ability slow the enemy (and they said they changed Skarner cos they didn't want perma-slows...) and mega-gnar has all his skills slow/stun. Not even mentioning the %hp damage or the movement/attack speed boosts in his kit...

    There's too many champs with stupid slows/CC attached to their kit that doesn't make sense and are unneeded (cough Flay slowing and a knockup). Gnar isn't going to help with this at all. Too many slows/CCs in champs are making more than half the LoL champs unviable. I really wish Riot would stop adding to the problem and actually try to balance the current cast. Most of the viable champs now have a ton of CC or a boatload of gap-closers/escapes... adding so much of these is necessary in order to make Gnar playable in the current state of league, and that's really sad.

    I'd really like to see the damage/CD numbers. Hopefully he's not going to be overpowered on release~

    He does seem a bit heavy handed, I'll agree. Suppose we'll see in the pbe how he is.

    During worlds just twitch streams get over 500k. Youtube stream gets over 200k itself. Those are only 2 streaming platforms and is a small fraction of the total viewers.

    I just tried him out on PBE. He's basically a more mobile version of Draven with a lot more tankiness;

    His passive is ridiculous. It gives movement speed, bonus range, and bonus attack speed as Regular Gnar. As Mega-Gnar, you gain bonus HP, bonus AD/MR, HP Regen, and bonus AD. These all scale base off levels and they're a big amount of numbers.

    Gnar's Q is like a Sivir's Q, except you need the mechanics to catch the bo****ang to decrease the Q's cooldown (more dps).
    As Mega-Gnar, he picks up a boulder and throws it at the enemy. The cooldown is reduced if you pick up the boulder (kind of like Olaf's Q)
    Damage scales off AD.

    His W gives a ridiculous movement speed steroid, where, if you auto attack the same target 3 times, it will give you a % movement speed that increases each time you level up the skill. It also deals magic damage based off of your enemy's % max hp.
    As Mega-Gnar, you will stomp onto the ground and deal damage in a straight line, same damage as regular Gnar.
    Damage scales off AP.

    His E gives him so much mobility. If you jump onto a target (enemy unit; minion, champion, jungle creep) you will slow the target and you will bounce off that target, extending the distance of your jump.
    As Mega-Gnar, you will not bounce off, but instead leap towards the target(s), dealing AoE slow and damage.
    Damage is based off 6% of your Max HP and scales off AD.

    His R, christ, I don't even think you need this skill. His damage is already ridiculous. Though, once you reach 100 rage, you have the chance to activate this skill to transform into Mega-Gnar and do an AoE knockback, dealing AD damage and 150 bonus damage if your target collides against an object (tower, wall, fallen towers) and stun them.

    EDIT: I do not know the numbers specifically or his ratio, whatsoever. I do know that he is currently OP as hell and hopefully they tweak him a bit before he goes live.

    With the recent releases, especially this years', I'm losing faith in Riot's balance department. Most of my favorite champions are pretty old, and they're pretty unpopular picks as they can't do as much as these new picks (see Thresh and Braum supports crowding out most of the other support picks). Older champions like Ashe are pretty much replacable with any ADC with a red buff nowadays.

    I hope the slight Janna buffs make her much better to play as. Right now, Braum and Thresh offer more CC than her, and are tankier too. No reason to really play her anymore~

    2/4 of my most favorite champs just got major gameplay reworks. I don't know if I'll like the new Sona's rework. Sounds like easy kills for all the AoE CC most champs put out nowadays (look at Gnar, Braum, Yasuo etc).

    I have also no clue how to build Nid now. I'm pretty much an AP player, even when splitpush Bruiser Nid was popular, I played her AP. Now she's back to building items like Triforce and BOTRK. Is an AP build even viable now? I really hope so.

    I was thinking maybe like, Sorc Shoes, Lich Bane, Dcap, Zhonyas, Banshee's, Athene's or GA. Idk how it'd work tho, I just don't want spears to be just for tagging enemies. I want them to actually do damage too...

    Pwyff also commented on the Thresh flay fixes mentioned a few days ago and offered additional context on the set of changes he received in patch 4.13:
    "CertainlyT thinks he has a fix for that Flay bug in 4.14, sorry it didn't make it in this one.
    As for your response, I agree that it's not the best context and I probably should have done better. The argument is circular, but Thresh being a reliable, top tier support is partially due to his popularity but also because he's just so damn strong across the board. He's got insane teamfight presence but he also happens to be one of the best support skirmishers around. He's just so well-rounded that it's tough to really reduce power without hurting his identity.
    As for Thresh's position in the LCS / OGN / competitive play, he's in the top 3 supports of pick/ban. Consistently he has passed 75%+ across the board and while popularity is never a core statistic we use purely, it indicates a degree of reliability and a disregard for strategic use that we can't ignore. If Thresh can just be picked whenever and wherever (hello Lucian) that's not the best."
    Took them only 1 year 7 months to realize that~


    Also, Gnar's bo****ang throw has really good range, wow. It outranges Sivir's bo****ang, and has better base damage, similar scaling, and provides a slow too. It does fall off in damage faster after the first target hit, but really, that's a scary spell, especially with the CD reducing mechanic...

    Okay, actually reading through all the skills, his ratios seem too good. Most likely he's going to be broken on release in this state~~

    Agree with you Senna, Morello and his team confuse me, a lot.

    Yeah but a team that knows all about the game, its meta, and its characters shouldn't have ever thought the way they had him before would work.
