Default PC to run the Game

How much do you think a PC would cost to run the game on say medium at a decent steady frame rate?

The benchmark program is a flakey pos. For the moment you can't really use it as a good gauge. As long as you meet the reqs or above you'll be able to play fine.

Yeah, The benchmark program sort of wrong, I got my current computer for 880$ a year ago, and I'm getting 2000 score.

    Specs:

    - Nvidia GeForce 9800 GT
    - Pentium Dual Core E5200 2.50 GHZ
    - 4 GB RAM
    - Windows 7 64 bit.
    - Motherboard and Ram are DDR2.

I do actually meet the recommended requirements but I'm still gonna spend about 400-500 to upgrade my really really bad processor which means I have to remove my motherboard etc , GFX comes later.

Anyways, I'm sure you could pick up something even better than this if you know how to custom build a pc for like 700$-800$? and get a score of 3k-4k?

That's like exactly identical to mine. I was expecting to upgrade a bit for FF14 but if you feel confident maybe I should too.

Might get a little more RAM just in case. I don't think I'm gonna upgrade my card until the newer ones get a little bit cheaper.

My brother's going to play, it's gonna be his first MMO (even though he's 28 years old lol), but he's waiting on the PS3 version. I really wanna play it on PC to kinda be able to help him out more when he starts to play.

Ahaha, We're both in the same hassle here, I'm not going to be upgrading my GFX also until another 3-4 months but for the processor and motherboard/ram has to go!

i am building my computer. was cheap too. $680.

    6 core AMD processor
    4 gigs ddr3
62 gig solid state hard drive
    Nvidia Gforce GTX 460 superclocked

granted i will upgrade to 8 gigs prolly before i start playing but no reason this will have ANY trouble with it.
