    Default IDE Trouble

    So I have an IDE cord that only has 2 plugins. So I got my windows 7 cd and I unplugged drive D and plugged in the dvdr but now for some reason the IDE will only see my hard drive if there is only 1 thing plugged into it and I have tried switching cords but the same thing happens only 1 thing can be plugged in.
