Summer break is coming up for me. Maybe it's time to dust off my PS1 and replay FFIX or finally beat FFVIII.
I actually want square to bring this style back. They could polish it up a bit, but they should get rid of the crap they did with FFXIII, and probably FFXV to.
and yeah i love the bright colors in FFX. and this whole world that looks untouched by mankind because it gets destroyed by sin. lots of nature and almost no machine :P
i prefer final fantasy to either be all nature, or the oposide.. rusty and filty like, like in FF7 :P
ff13 looked too shiny and clean to me with the exception of gran pulse. and 15 seems to follow a similar path. a futuristic city where everything looks clean and serious.
im not really good at explaining but u get the idea ;p
Gonna play this until Dark Souls 2 releases on steam. I remember that i was hyped for it and i completely forgot about it .
also the ps3 version runs on 1080p
also i read vita struggles to maintain 30fps with lots of characters onscreen. either way both the ps3/vita versions are a huge improvement overall

So while the ps3 version runs on 1080p, on a bigger screen it still won't look as great as on a smaller screen with the same resolution. Basicly the ps3 version gets stretched out the bigger your TV screen is, while the vita version gets cropped in. Now if you were talking about comparison between Vita TV, then I could kind of see your point. There's no patch for vita TV yet, though.
