WoW Cataclysm update

So I just started another trial to see what has changed in Cata. I didn't read all the patch notes before though. So in my character creation I was surprised that pretty much every race can be a mage except Tauren. Hunters everywhere too and pretty much the other classes.

Now I'm kinda pissed off about Dwarf having the option to be mages/warlocks and orcs being mages as IMO it does not fit lore-wise. I can somewhat accept that, but something got to me really. Night Elf Mages. I just found that to be ridiculous (based on lore). Any thoughts on these?
What's next Tauren Rogues?

I played the Warcraft series since WC and WCII and I feel like they are just ignoring long time fans.

well atleat theyre listening to people thats a plus lol,
but yeah they really should stick to the lore oh wells,
but night elf mage = furion guy lol forgot his name but remember from dota same role anyway

Yeah Malfurion is a druid. But orc mages too...

They're just mainstreaming as best as they can by this point. Seriously, level 1-80 has become the biggest and easiest bore a 4 year old could easily make it through, which especially applies to dungeons. Then these people who have had absolutely no practice playing the game jump into lvl 85 heroics and have no idea how to play or do anything. Finally at this point you have to actually *gasp* not stand in firey death that can appear on the ground?!

Then raids are actually fun. Can pose sort of a challenge.

^ yeah that seems to be true. I read a lot of people complaining about BElf paladins not knowing what to do
